## FUJIFILM XApp Description
FUJIFILM XApp ist eine App, die von der Fujifilm Corporation bereitgestellt wird. Sobald Benutzer eine Fujifilm-Digitalkamera über Bluetooth® mit ihrem Smartphone oder Tablet koppeln, können sie aufgenommene Bilder und Filme auf ihr Smartphone oder Tablet übertragen, die Kamera aus der Ferne steuern, Kameraeinstellungen sichern und wiederherstellen, Datum/Uhrzeit/Ort synchronisieren und die Firmware aktualisieren.
Die Wi-Fi-Funktion von Smartphones oder Tablets wird auch zur Übertragung von aufgenommenen Bildern und Videos sowie zur Aktualisierung der Firmware genutzt.
Durch die Anmeldung bei Fujifilms Netzwerkservice können außerdem die täglichen Aufnahmeaktivitäten mit der Kamera automatisch in einem Tagebuchformat zusammengefasst werden.
Dieser Service ist nützlich, um die eigenen fotografischen Aktivitäten zu überprüfen und die fotografischen Fähigkeiten zu verbessern.

The app could be great, but the camera not being able to re-establish the connection after a while, is a big downer. And yes, location permissions are set to always, but after a while the camera just won‘t reconnect unless the app is opened. Then it works again for a while, but after some time the procedure needs to be repeated.

My Leica q3 writes the GPS Data in exif just by carrying around my phone in the pocket. the app must not be open, I do not have to connect the camera. Why is this impossible for Fuji? I do have GPS data on less than 20% of my photos with the GFX even if I pair the devices and even if the x-app is open. Even the old Fuji app was more reliable. I can not understand that this enterprise is capable to produce the finest hardware and fails so badly in software. Please stop to try yourself and hire someone professional.

The new Fuji app has a nice, clean user interface. It’s easy to use. The image transfer works reliably between the phone and the camera. That feature was painfully wrong in the old app. All together it’s a step forward a modern, and more user friendly app. 
There is still a problem though. The phone and the camera is not connecting automatically when the camera is turned on, only when the app is opened as well. Which makes the location sharing feature unusable. Please fix this. My camera firmware is 2.03, and the app version is 1.21.

Much better than the old app. But with the latest update, connecting to the camera (X-T30 II) takes much longer and is less reliable than with the initial 1.0 version. 

A feature request: it would be amazing to make the app Apple Watch compatible. Not necessarily for downloading photos, but to remotely control the camera. This would be a real standout feature.
