FUJIFILM XApp is an app. provided by Fujifilm Corporation. Once users pair a Fujifilm digital camera with their smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth®, they can transfer captured images and movies to their smartphone or tablet, control the camera remotely, backup and restore camera settings, synchronize date, time, and location, and update firmware.
The Wi-Fi function of smartphones or tablets is also used for transferring captured images and videos, and updating firmware.
In addition, by signing in to Fujifilm's network service, daily shooting activities using the camera can be automatically summarized in a diary format.

Photos in descending order
Fujifilm Team, The app has been improving significantly with each update. However, I have a suggestion for further enhancement. Currently, the photos are sorted in ascending order by date, and the app automatically opens at the first photo taken. This requires users to scroll all the way up to see the most recent photos. Could you please update the app to sort photos in descending order by date, so the most recent photos are displayed first? This would greatly improve the user experience.
Poor, and frustrating app
I recently purchased my first Fujifilm camera, the X100VI. I immediately downloaded this app as a companion to that camera. I hoped it would transfer lower res copies of the photos I take with the X100VI while I shoot. It does not. The app disconnects from the camera randomly and often, and often asks to use cellular to continue receiving files. While transferring images to my phone, which only occasionally occurs automatically, I cannot continue shooting. I have a Nikon Z7II and use the Nikon SnapBridge app to effortlessly transfer 2mp images to my phone while I continue to shoot. The Nikon app/camera hardly ever disconnect from each other, and I can continue using the camera while it transfers those files. 2mp copies keep popping up in my photos app so I can quickly edit and share good shots. The XApp does not work nearly this well, smoothly or intuitively. Fujifilm really needs to revamp this app with better usability, ease of use, and reliability. I find this app poor and frustrating to use at best. To transfer images I often have to select images to transfer. I may want that, sometimes. Usually I just want it to transfer lower res files automatically while I continue to shoot. Fujifilm, please revamp this app to work reliably and allow transfer while shooting.
Worked then didn’t
Not sure what happened. This app was working beautifully for my XT5 and XT30 II then out of nowhere it just started saying it was incompatible and I had to switch back to the remote app which is absolutely frustrating to use. Very sad this app no longer works. The new XT50 also doesn’t work either.
Will not connect
Will not connect to iPhone via Bluetooth. Camera does not find phone
Connected ONCE. Now it won’t.
Like the title said, the app connected my phone and camera ONCE. Now when I try to connect it says “WAITING FOR CONNECTED” on the camera (nice grammar lol) and unable to join the network on my phone. SO annoying.
Very limited usage. do not update through the app.
This app would be at least slightly useful if it supported other focusing modes, especially continuous/eye tracking feature.
Recently tried updating the firmware on my X-T5, got stuck and bricked. Sent to Fujifilm, they fixed it and recommended to not update via the app.
Basically useless for GFX series
This app is way to slow to transfer photos on GFX 50Sii
It’s way to slow to the point where the app seems like it’s locked up.
If you want to import photos it’s better to just use usb C cable and import the photos with the native photos app
This app needs a lot of work before it will become useful.
Live Remote Lagging
The live remote function with xh2s is lagging and inconsistent
Great Job following up on the features!
I have an XH2s and as a new Fuji user, I’ve been content with all the updates. I’m seeing the developer team at Fuji is very responsive to issues and also developing new features and would like to commend the good app they have created so far.
Great job and looking forward to what’s next!
Wish I could love it
Previously on my XS - 10 was able to connect flawlessly. Upgraded to XT-5 and found that connection is intermittent. Noticed WIFI connection for phone plus camera was not available. Notified Fuji and was dismissed. Works sporadically.
