## Funeral/Obits Description
TheFuneralApp notifies you of the posting of any obituaries from your selected list of cities. You can receive alerts for obituaries in the city where you grew up, went to school, worked or currently reside -- as many cities as you wish to follow.
Once you download the Funeral App, select as many cities as you want, and you choose whether or not to be notified automatically of any new obituary posted to any funeral home’s website in that community.
You can also quickly and easily browse the obituaries in any U.S. city with a single click on your phone. This app links you directly to the appropriate funeral homes’ website for the full obituary and funeral details.
No longer do you have to subscribe to multiple newspapers, search the web for death notices in multiple cities or search out funeral home websites to find the obits that are important to you.
Many of us rely on obituaries to let us know when a distant family member or friend has passed. Obituaries are sometimes the only way we learn of fallen soldiers that are so near and dear to our hearts. The same is true for those we care about in our community.
This app is free to you and to funeral homes. Contact the funeral homes in your area and encourage them to sign up. It’s easy, it’s free and it’s truly valuable to all.

## Funeral/Obits Reviews in United States

### *---- "Does not find all obits in Amarillo Texas"
This app does not bring up obituaries for all funerals or funeral homes in Amarillo or Canyon Texas. Obituaries that it pulls up are for only one funeral home and they are 6 to 12 months old. This app 4-6 months ago it was always updated and listed current obituaries.
-- Granolin, 2019-07-31

### *---- "Not useful"
This app sounded good in the description, but it doesn't actually allow you to search for a person's name. Without the ability to search by name, this app is nothing but a waste of time. Don't bother to install!
-- Jennahtx, 2017-12-27

### *---- "Waste of time"
Very time consuming to use. It could not even find obits when I knew and input exact information.
-- Chuck Hanson, 2017-06-21

### ***** "EXCELLENT"
This is an awesome app! You simply type in deceaseds first and last name which pops up tap name and ob appears.I highly recommend!

### *---- "Useless"
My dad died in 1978, app found nothing. Searched for dead ortho surgeon cousin with known obit. Zippo. Have to rate this as pretty useless.

### ***** "The Funeral App"
I think this app is a great idea! I have been following it recently and fortunately I have had alerts on funerals in the town where I reside. It looks like the app people are making improvements but it also appears that funeral homes need to get with this app to share the obits for their own clientele as well as the public. I don't take the newspaper any more so this is a great service. Everyone needs to encourage his/her favorite funeral home to work with this app!!

### ***** "Very Useful!"
I often need to find out the details of a funeral at the last minute … like where and when it’s going to be. The Funeral App so handy.
-- Jojoharmel, 2016-09-04

### ***** "Regional Director Child Nutrition-SFE"
Easy to use. Love the option of picking any City/State in USA, since I travel a lot and like to know if I can make a service in the area if needed.

### ***** "Friend and patron"
This is the best app...I would have missed many deaths in various towns if it weren't for this funeral app...it's awesome and thanks to boxwell brothers!!
-- Delores Clower, 2016-06-19

### *---- "Use to be good"
Use to be good before they fixed it . Tried signing up several times , just is not user friendly
