Take on the role of a football manager in this realistic soccer strategy game.

You are a young, promising football manager at the start of your career. A handful of small clubs are prepared to gamble on your potential and make you their manager. Choose one and take it from the bottom league all the way to European glory. Or will you ditch them when other jobs become available at bigger and better clubs, working your way up to managing one of the giants of European football?

▶ REALISTIC CLUB AND LEAGUES STRUCTURE

There are 750 clubs to manage across 9 European countries including England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, Russia, Portugal, Turkey and the Netherlands. Each country has realistic league and cup competitions, meaning there are 64 trophies to compete for in total – how much silverware can you win?!

▶ MASSIVE PLAYER DATABASE

There are 17,000 players in the game and your scouts will regularly provide reports on as many as they can. Make offers to buy or loan them, using your business acumen to negotiate transfer fees and personal terms. You’ll be in control of player sales too – will you accept that big offer for your star player?

▶ KEEP YOUR CHAIRMAN HAPPY

Each season your chairman will give you a realistic target to achieve. This could be something like avoid relegation, finish in the top 10 or even win the league. The chairman will expect you to steadily improve the team, so usually the targets will get higher and higher each season.You will be given a transfer budget and a wage budget for the season which you can spend on whoever you want. But be careful you don't spend what you don't have as the chairman will not take kindly to this and it could have a negative effect on your job security, maybe even resulting in the sack!

▶ APPLY FOR OTHER JOBS

As you career progresses, so your reputation will increase and other clubs will consider appointing you as their manager. You can apply for other jobs either in the same country you're currently managing in or abroad. But make sure you check out the state of the club first - you don't want to take on a side doomed to relegation, or a team which doesn't have much money as that wouldn't be good for your career.

▶ APPOINT YOUR BACKROOM STAFF

There are other personnel to help you manage the club. The Head Coach, Academy Coach, Physio, Head Scout, Youth Scout and Fitness Coach all play their part in the success of the club. Hire and fire them at the right time to achieve the best results for your team.

▶ TAKE FULL CONTROL OF MATCHES

Before each match you must pick the team, carefully considering the fitness and skill level of each player. Choose the formation and tactics to suit the opponent you're facing and then it's kick off.

As the match unfolds, change tactics if you need to. Have you taken the lead against tough opposition? Consider switching to a more defensive mentality to grind out the win. Is your midfielder's fitness levels dropping too low? Maybe it's time to freshen the team up with a substitution. But if you make all your subs too early and then pick up an injury, what will you do then?!

These tough decisions are part and parcel of managing the team on match day and will ultimately shape your career.

National North and South Please

Annoying the National League play offs consist of 4 teams instead of 6. Would love it if there was new release with the National North and South and option to make a new team. Would be really cool to be able to put your own player in the game as well. Also European Conference leagues and International Management offers would also be really cool like the Euros, Nations League, World Cup Good game though would be better if you could use different play styles such as wing play or counter attack not just a choice of attacking balanced or defensive It would be a better experience if the player names were real Also form aswell it shouldn’t just be about the rating if the player if the player is playing well he then performs well regardless of his rating

I want a budget where I can pi+k so I don’t have to be Oldham or some teams like that but what a game

It’s a 3 star bc beginning of the season we can’t even get to chosse ur own fav team,u will have to be a crap team losing to ez teams that are bottom of the table 3-0 or even 1-2 the fact is I see a good team for example Chesterfield they Finsihed 4 but lost to Boreham Woods In the Finals of the National League when 2023/24 season came I became the Chestfiled team and the team was so bad we drew to Dover 2-2 and losing to the most easy team in the league and we finished 12th not so good for me bc they did so good in the 2022/23 season and it’s just not acceptable for me the adds are so cringe 😬 and annyoing I bet people don’t even like this anymore and they can’t say anything about it

It’s a good game but I have been with aiders hit and the sage hasn’t changed for 3 seasons. It’s impossible to improve the team now. Please fix this.

worth a read Ultimately pointless unless you spend

I’m probably a bit football management game veteran, which is what initially attracted me to this game as it’s got the champ manager/football manager look to it, and it’s free. Starts well, and it feels like your making great progress as you patiently make your way up the football leagues, then you get to the top and everything stalls, presumably to get you to spend on something like the unsackable option. The closest I got to a successful season was losing the league cup final, fa cup final, champions league final and losing the last 5 games of the season to miss out on the league by 1 point. It gets to the point where you have by far the best team in the world, there’s no point buying anyone else as even though your staff are the best they can be they can’t find a player good enough to improve the team/squad so if you buy anyone all you’re doing is adding to a wage bill that will ultimately get you sacked… I ended up with about 1.5 billion quid to spend Eventually, after painstakingly navigating my home team from the bottom of the Championship to being the best team in Europe/the world (on paper) the league prevention winning algorithm meant coming 2nd 6 seasons on in a row got me the sack…. I actually laughed when it happened it was that predictable. After being ousted I’ve been presented with a job in the championship with a wage bill 2 1/2 times the budget, about 10 contract renewals and a target to win the league…… guess I’ll be getting the sack again😂 Save 100 hours of your life, buy Football Manager mobile… 👍
