The GAIN Group & Personal Training app connects you with real personal trainers for custom guided workouts and enables you to stay connected and accountable 24/7. GAIN allows you automatically share important progress measurements to your trainer if you choose to allow GAIN to access your Health data (via the Health app). 2 ways to train: 1.) PERSONAL TRAINING: If you already have a 1:1 in-person trainer, GAIN provides the mobile app extension. Your trainer sends personalized workouts in the app and holds you accountable with messaging and notifications. Great for when you travel or want work out more often than you can afford to meet with your trainer. 2.) GROUP TRAINING (Beta): If you can’t afford a personal trainer, or don’t have time to find and meet one IRL, you can now join a GAIN Training Group. These groups are led by real fitness pros and pack the same 1-2 combo of custom workout plans and 24/7 connection and support. Group messaging and notifications unlock the motivation, accountability and support you can only get from joining a community of real people like you. BEST USER EXPERIENCE: Our award-winning app workout experience coaches you through each exercise, rep, and rest with HD motion GIF images, voice commands, and motivational cues spoken by real personal trainers. Works well with or without headphones, in the gym or at home. The audio is comprehensive enough to guide your entire workout with audio-only. Also integrates seamlessly with any music player of your choice. MOST CUSTOMIZED & VARIED WORKOUTS: Trainers often build workouts and programs from scratch to their exacting specifications. No two workouts are the same. Trainers pull from our comprehensive exercise library of more than 1,700 exercises, mashing up exercises from varied training approaches, including bodybuilding, Cross Fit, yoga, functional strength training, Pilates, HIIT, bootcamp, gymnastics, calisthenics, rehab exercises, and more. TERMS & PRICING: The Group Training feature is currently in Beta, and we are not charging anything for it yet. The Personal Training version should be discussed and negotiated directly with your personal trainer. ## GAIN Group & Personal Training Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/e8/a0/5b/e8a05bea-0625-f8ec-d3de-56e7c7b3a961/mzl.laruihxz.jpg/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/7d/38/6a/7d386a1f-6caf-9f8c-f70f-2a57d0153d09/mzl.hedjjmpw.jpg/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/8b/db/e0/8bdbe0a5-f471-59de-a9fa-bc33b7be23d8/mzl.cclidgwu.jpg/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple113/v4/10/69/1d/10691d23-301e-d3eb-b260-7913b0d00783/mzl.xrwurpwp.jpg/640x960.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple123/v4/44/a9/45/44a94571-4c4c-9a23-7810-cd5124a6e231/mzl.oegtlunl.jpg/640x960.png) ## GAIN Group & Personal Training Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 132 (85%) - 4 stars: 6 (4%) - 3 stars: 6 (4%) - 2 stars: 3 (2%) - 1 stars: 9 (6%) ## GAIN Group & Personal Training Reviews in United States ### ***** "Trainer and Nutritionist" Birdy is the best!! She keeps in touch and pats me on the back and let’s me know how proud of me she is and how great I’m doing!! -- Barbiedoll49017, 2023-01-26 ### *---- "Abandoned?" This app used to have an amazing range of exercises. It seems someone along the way had the idea to focus on making money via the trainers instead of exercisers. But the exercisers have the disposable income and the desire to be alone… I bet if you brought back the exercises and charged a monthly fee a few dollars less than Planet Fitness, you’d have a good income. Please do that. -- musicsavesmeeveryday, 2022-01-20 ### ***** "My workout" I truly enjoy this app, 1 of the best apps ever 😊 -- cassie lmac, 2021-03-03 ### *---- "Not the same app" I used this app when it as first developed and it helped me lose weight without a gym membership. This app has completely changed and it’s so disappointing. I remember it used to provide daily workouts for free. It would track your progress and I loved everything about it. This was back in 2013. I don’t ever write reviews but wants to let the developers know that this app is now completely useless. One of the features it used to have was video visuals of exercises in your workout. Seriously miss the old app. This is garbage. -- MelissaP85, 2020-04-10 ### ***** "Gain" Best app ever! Great workouts. Nice variety. Very motivational! -- TommyGunn6200, 2020-03-08 ### ***** "Guided workouts from my trainer!" Love GAIN’s guided workouts that my trainer makes for me. So easy to follow, and love how the timers keep me on track. There’s nothing else like this out there! -- NicoNico837, 2020-03-06 ### *---- "Scam software" Beware! Rogue company! I haven’t really used this app and only created a test client account on the trainer app without using it. Since then I’ve been receiving spam emails from Gain and Paypal invoice requesting me to pay $7.99 per month. There was no indication at the time of creating a client account that I needed to pay. I have deleted the app since but continued to received bills from this rough company. If you want to charge, charge it properly through Apple store subscription. Don’t charge people for services they are not told that they need to pay and send suspicious billing emails! -- yyalfie, 2019-09-25 ### **--- "Bad UI and Low Dev Support" I've been using this app for the last 9 months and have seen very few updates to it's clunky UI. For a month it was point blank not working. That being said, it's an effective way for me to communicate with my trainer. -- 32jvilla, 2019-01-02 ### ****- "Android" Great app! Just need an android version -- barbs8282, 2019-01-01 ### ***** "LOVE IT!!!" I joined GAIN Fitness 3 years ago and it’s been my go-to workout app ever since. The virtual trainer relationship has been surprisingly effective in getting me to workout more often and at a higher intensity. Also, being assigned workouts keeps things fresh and interesting. -- bboom123, 2018-09-25 [View all GAIN Group & Personal Training reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## GAIN Group & Personal Training Discovered Keywords - health and fitness - gym - personal training - home workouts - gain group ## Apps Similar to GAIN Group & Personal Training - [FitSW for Personal Trainers](https://apptail.io/app/fitsw-for-personal-trainers-qPk/united-states) - [Trainador for Trainers](https://apptail.io/app/trainador-for-trainers-dYs/united-states) - [SmartFitness TRAIN](https://apptail.io/app/smartfitness-train-Unw/united-states) - [Everfit for Coach](https://apptail.io/app/everfit-for-coach-mDcb/united-states) - [FitBudd Client](https://apptail.io/app/fitbudd-client-XKcb/united-states) - [The Client Notebook](https://apptail.io/app/the-client-notebook-Eoeb/united-states) - [The Training Notebook](https://apptail.io/app/the-training-notebook-Bhob/united-states) - [Virtuagym Coach](https://apptail.io/app/virtuagym-coach-jBob/united-states) - [Trainer Plus - Client Tracking](https://apptail.io/app/trainer-plus-client-tracking-kBob/united-states) - [FitForce.com for Trainers](https://apptail.io/app/fitforcecom-for-trainers-tBob/united-states) ## GAIN Group & Personal Training Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/united-states) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/nigeria) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/united-kingdom) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/switzerland) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/canada) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/turkey) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/netherlands) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/austria) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/australia) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/united-arab-emirates) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/greece) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/israel) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/india) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/italy) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/japan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/south-korea) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/mexico) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/new-zealand) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/philippines) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/poland) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/russia) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/sweden) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/thailand) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/taiwan) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/vietnam) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/argentina) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/brazil) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/colombia) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/germany) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/denmark) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/spain) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/finland) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/france) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/hong-kong) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/hungary) - [Qatar](https://apptail.io/app/gain-group-personal-training-hBob/qatar) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
