This handy application presents you several self-guided walks featuring the best of the city, from world famous attractions to hidden gems. There simply is no better way to see a city on foot, at your own pace and at a cost that is only a fraction of what you would normally pay for a guided tour. This app comes with a detailed and fully functional city map to help you explore the city and locate the sights of interest. City map functions included in this app are: street name and business (restaurants, cafes, etc.), search, location bookmarking, `Findme` (iPhone and iPad 3/4G model), movement tracking (iPhone and iPad 3/4G model), and more. You can track your steps, take photos along the way, and then share your tracks and photos with friends. Sightseeing walks included in this application are: * Galway Pubs Tour (6 sights) * Traditional Music Spots (8 sights) * Galway Specialty Shops (7 sights) * Art Galleries Walk (5 sights) * Salthill Walk (8 sights) * City Orientation Walk (16 sights) * Galway Children's Tour (6 sights) * Galway Daily Life Tour (6 sights) No Data Plan or Internet is Needed, and No Roaming either. All the data used in this app is built into the software, so there is no need for internet access or cellular data plan. No need to pay costly roaming charges when traveling to foreign cities. The app works with your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. All the navigation features related to the city walks are disabled in this Lite version, which means that you can view the walk details (sight descriptions and photos), but NO navigation assistance is provided to guide you from one sight to the next. Download the Lite version if you want to use the city map or learn about the city walks. However, if you want to join the walks, it is highly recommended that you download a Full Version of this app. The Full Version includes detailed walk route maps to guide you from one sight to the next. Please visit our website at www.GPSmyCity.com to find city walks for over 470 cities worldwide. Note: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This app gives you the option to turn off the GPS tracking in the background to prolong the battery life. ## Galway Map and Walks Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/ad/52/f1/ad52f1bf-4466-d398-0e72-5b38a2caba11/mzl.twlblncf.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/4e/66/da/4e66da41-2ea9-9b8a-6d53-a50274aecbfa/mzl.yrprctxw.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple128/v4/91/bf/45/91bf45c5-bb9f-e70a-472d-62c7e1797609/mzl.fiqopurr.png/2048x2732.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple118/v4/d3/a8/d7/d3a8d764-5d99-2f0b-99a7-2a8732ba3152/mzl.xswbqrlu.png/2048x2732.png) ## Galway Map and Walks Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 0 (0%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 2 (100%) ## Galway Map and Walks Reviews in United States ### *---- "A waste of time and energy" Took the time to walk back to where i was staying in galway to connect to their wifi just to find and download a walking tour then headed out to do it and expected a bit of narration or something intriguing not only was there none but it was a total bait and switch to buy the $5 one before being able to even view a map to find anything! I imagine it was employees giving this good ratings bc there is not much there. Maybe the prem version is great but i doubt it judging by the biz practices. I prob would bought it if i had not felt ripped off by the investment in time for what i found worthless. Why not just offer something valuable and charge a bit rather than offer this and waste peoples' time? It may cost more than $5 just to access the app store and pay fir the xfer once we see this does not help us. -- Jjava, 2011-05-10 [View all Galway Map and Walks reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Galway Map and Walks Discovered Keywords - galway app - galway ## Apps Similar to Galway Map and Walks - [Paris Travel Guide .](https://apptail.io/app/paris-travel-guide-Zn/united-states) - [Athens Travel Guide](https://apptail.io/app/athens-travel-guide-GjOb/united-states) - [München Reiseführer mit Karte](https://apptail.io/app/munchen-reisefuhrer-mit-karte-cKOb/united-states) - [Washington DC Travel Guide .](https://apptail.io/app/washington-dc-travel-guide-emPc/united-states) - [St. Augustine Guide and Tours](https://apptail.io/app/st-augustine-guide-and-tours-gsoe/united-states) - [City Walks](https://apptail.io/app/city-walks-kben/united-states) - [Chicago Guide and Subway map](https://apptail.io/app/chicago-guide-and-subway-map-yjOq/united-states) - [Walking Tour Guides by Wandity](https://apptail.io/app/walking-tour-guides-by-wandity-GWTq/united-states) - [Ireland Travel](https://apptail.io/app/ireland-travel-Mcpu/united-states) - [Narrate My Trip: Audio Tours](https://apptail.io/app/narrate-my-trip-audio-tours-uICv/united-states) ## Galway Map and Walks Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/united-states) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/australia) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/france) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/ireland) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/italy) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/israel) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/india) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/south-africa) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/japan) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/netherlands) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/new-zealand) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/pakistan) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/canada) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/saudi-arabia) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/galway-map-and-walks-Orne/brazil) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
