## Gander Description
Welcome to Gander, the app that helps you save money on your food & grocery shopping whilst substantially reducing food waste.

Who doesn't like eating well for less? One of the best ways to do this is through picking up markdowns at a supermarket or convenience store.

Only issue with this is, you have to be in the store to know what food has been marked-down and even then it can be difficult to find it... well that is all about to change with Gander!

Gander is a world-first mobile app that displays reduced to clear food & drink, from local convenience stores and supermarkets in real time! Never miss a bargain again with delicious reduced food only one swipe away!

FIND IT – Browse reduced and discounted food however you want on the Gander app! By location, food type and dietary/preference. We have you covered.

COLLECT IT – Found some items you fancy? Rush down to the store to collect them and enjoy paying substantially less money for that same great food!

ENJOY IT – whether you have just bought a meal, some ingredients or, actually, absolutely anything that those stores have to offer, now it’s time to enjoy it. You have saved a pretty penny, have fantastic food to eat and saved the planet in the process! Win, win win! Kudos.

Did you know, each year, 1/3 of all food produced is thrown away? At Gander we want to help put an end to food waste, by helping retailers stop avoidable food surplus and waste in the first place.

Reduced to clear food is normally discounted as it is coming up to its sell by date, it has been over-ordered (we all do it!) or the packaging has some light damage. What does this mean? This food is still PERFECTLY GREAT TO EAT, yet so much still goes to waste.

Not only that, this same delicious food is often at substantially discounted prices. So, if you love great food at cheap prices, want to save money and have an environmental conscience, download Gander now and save money and help reduce food waste.

## Gander Reviews in Australia

### **--- "Kinda useless"
It’s a great app if you have a foodland close and you don’t mind shopping there but where I live, I don’t have one close or one that is on here. I have drakes and Romeo’s, Coles, aldi etc so I don’t see any use in this app but it has great savings for foodlands
-- Sexcibum, 2025-10-15

### *---- "Useless"
Doesn’t work. Just sits on the home loading screen
-- Adelaide Bus, 2025-10-13

### **--- "Great, but…"
This is such a great idea, though really being restricted to foodland in SA is disappointing, now if an app did this with ALL local grocery stores (inc. big chains like Woolies, Coles and Aldi) it would truely make an app like this a game changer, until then it’s pretty well useless to me.

### ***** "Gander App"
This App is a game changer, I can’t recommend it enough. The developers should be so proud of what they have created. I have not only been able to be a part of a huge issue in Australia with food waste but saved so much money in the process. My family eat like royals now thanks to Gander at a very reduced price. It’s helped me become more understanding of what we ‘want’ and what we need. (Food wise) my family now enjoy barramundi, high quality meat and fruits we wouldn’t of tried prior.
Thank you Gander and I’m excited to watch you grow and continue to help reduce food waste as more people see what I see.
The huge bonus is the money I have saved in doing so. With discounts of 20%, 40%, 52% and a huge 75% off!

❤️

### *---- "Absolute garbage - beware surrendering email credentials"
I tried the app for every capital/major city in Australia and the app says “It doesn’t look like anything is available” in any of them. The developers are probably just trying to harvest email addresses for targeted spam ads.
