GarageBand

Make great music anywhere

Published by: Apple

Description

GarageBand turns your iPad, and iPhone into a collection of Touch Instruments and a full-featured recording studio — so you can make music anywhere you go. And with Live Loops, it makes it easy for anyone to have fun creating music like a DJ. Use Multi-Touch gestures to play keyboards, guitars, and create beats that make you sound like a pro — even if you’ve never played a note before. Plug in a guitar or bass and play through classic amps and stompbox effects. Use a Touch Instrument, microphone, or a guitar to instantly record a performance, with support for up to 32 tracks. Use the Sound Library to download additional free instruments, loops, and sound packs created by some of the biggest producers in the world. And then share your song with friends and family.

I love this app it’s just that some times I find it hard to play since you might press a different note but either way I love it

I think GarageBand is a great app because you can make music on the go!

Very good app

This is a great app, it is free and allows people to access instruments that otherwise they may not be able to access, granted they are far from being close to a real instrument they are pretty good at replicating sounds and where things are and stuff. I think that you could add like an option for like having some sort of sheet music in a corner or something or maybe a tutorial that shows you how to play a song, idk but overall it is a great app with some great qualities that outweigh the stuff it doesn’t have.

Issue with automation

YaBoiiBigD on

Canada

The automation doesn’t fade in like it used to, instead it just pops up instead of rising if that makes sense? Could you fix that issue please???

this app is ngl just bad

1.70 GB is just insane. And don’t get me started on how hard it is to actually make a song. plus, this app will heat up your phone Hella. It’s not even funny how I can’t even use half the files. I have on my phone for this app when I wanna make a song.

It’s good, but I wish I can just edit samples outside of Apple Loops and recordings

I have a lot of Bandcamp/video game songs, so yeah. if you want, you can work with TuneBat to make this possible since they can detect BPM, key and god knows what else

The tiny problem that causes big issues

ShyGuyA on

First of all, this is an amazing app, all things considered. I’ve used it for years at this point, and once you know your way around it, you’ll be hard pressed to find an app that’s more convenient. However, there’s one bug that’s getting a bit annoying. Sometimes when launching a song, it’ll decide to optimize it. Fair enough, making stuff run smoother is always nice… it’d just be nice to know why it optimizes 13 MB files to 2 GBs. And additionally how to quickly fix this, or preferably not have to deal with it at all. But yeah, once this bug is gone, I’m sure everything will run smoothly and efficiently.

Songs can’t open due to update, but there’s no update now

My songs won’t upload because they require a new update even though there's no update now.
