Garmin Connect™ FAQ
Is Garmin Connect™ free?
Yes, Garmin Connect™ is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Garmin Connect™ legit?
⚠️ The Garmin Connect™ app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Generally my Garmin Connect experience has been excellent. To see all my data from my Epix, index scales, index blood pressure monitor and edge explore 2 on the one app displayed very intuitively has been very motivating for me. It is probably my most used app next to Gmail. Sure it needs some more refinements but overall it is a great experience. I hope they continue to improve it and develop new devices for it.
Perimenopause tracking
I love being able to monitor my monthly cycle but as I’m moving towards menopause it is essential to be able to track perimenopause dates. I assume the same for pregnancy.
Brilliant
I really enjoy the app, it is great very well done, wouldn’t use anything else !!!! Love it
2024
Garmin need to up the anti on their apps. More details on data it records would be good. And the ability to use this on my phone & tablet would be useful . Not one or the other.
Sync seems to drag on sometimes
Too many broken parts of this app
What used to work fine was broken when the last update installed. No fix yet provided 😣 No way to uninstall the faulty update.
This keeps on happening. This time, the steps weekly and monthly do not update in real time, while monthly does. And after 4 days, still no fix. Also, the heart rate app does not keep its physical restraints, making it unusable. Totally sick of this poor standard, which does not get better over rhe years.
Freezing
Freezing all the time trying to view health data. Great watch, awful app we are tied to.
WhatsApp notifications?
Why can’t I get WhatsApp notifications on my Venu 3? I’ve tried all possible suggested settings.
Glitchy, slow to load and the new UI is terrible
Used to be a great app until they changed the UI, now my Fenix 6 has trouble syncing. Never had a problem before the big “update”.
Reading all of the recent reviews, everyone is finding issues.
It’s been months since the changes with no fixes or seemingly any plans to roll back the updates, they clearly aren’t listening their customer base.
When it’s time to upgrade my watch, I definitely won’t be going Garmin due to this terrible app.
App freezes
App was great until the update, now it crashes every time I try to select “weight”
Garmin 245 music
Has been great over the last year but has had a couple of gliches lately. My messenger notifications don’t show on my watch and there is no sleep data being recorded. The sleep data issue has been happening over the last 3 nights.
