Garmin Connect™ FAQ
Is Garmin Connect™ free?
Yes, Garmin Connect™ is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Garmin Connect™ legit?
⚠️ The Garmin Connect™ app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
This app was great but the new Home Screen means the In Focus area takes up more than half the screen, and the At a Glance stats summaries are too large.
The Home Screen should be a true dashboard with more info visible without having to tap or scroll.
Overall alright
The app is fine, but it’s a massive downgrade from the previous version. I’m yet to meet anyone who has something positive to say about the changes in the last few months.
Overall it does its job
What UI ‘experts’ have you hired?
Every recent release this app gets a worse user experience. Have you hired some uni grads who are masquerading as UI experts?
And it’s ugly!
It’s worse than previous version
Doesn’t show weight at a glance even though I’ve selected it in settings to show.
Settings reset
This app reset my devices and setup way too often which required me to start setting up all my stuff from scratch before excercising, not acceptable
It works line it should
Very happy with it.
Would really like the app to tell me what I should do on the coming days to keep my training in the process as productive. Some guidance (very general) would be great.
It’s worse than previous version
Doesn’t show weight at a glance even though I’ve selected it in settings to show.
Latest update
The new update is very in user friendly and much less workable than the old update. Very limiting having restrictions on how many options can be seen at a glance. And in focus is actually more work than the at a glance. Not impressed.
Frustrating
I’ve owned a Garmin for over 2 years now (Epix pro) and was very happy until the new app update. Not only is the UI clunky and layered, but it is seriously buggy and the syncing is now terrible. Hurry up and fix please!
