## Garmin Drive™ Description
The Garmin Drive™ app is a simple and convenient app solution for the latest Garmin automotive navigators and dash cams. Visit garmin.com/driveapp for a list of compatible devices.

For compatible navigators, the Garmin Drive app provides real-time information for traffic, parking, advanced weather, and photoLive traffic cameras, in addition to smart notifications from your Bluetooth-enabled mobile device.
 
For compatible dash cams, the Garmin Drive app provides quick access to camera controls, settings, and recorded footage. Up to four dash cams can be wirelessly connected with the Dash Cam Auto Sync feature to provide comprehensive coverage around a vehicle, offering various viewpoints recorded by the multiple cameras. The Garmin Drive app can create a “picture-in-picture” video from any two perspectives at the same time, making it easy to review video and also share videos with friends, insurance agencies, or legal authorities.
 
Garmin Speak™ and Garmin DriveSmart™ 65 with Amazon Alexa are two Garmin products that bring what you love about Amazon Alexa to your vehicle. Just ask Alexa to hear music, news, and more. Also, enjoy Garmin turn-by-turn navigation. Stream the audio (music and other responses) from your vehicle’s stereo when you connect Garmin Speak to your stereo using Bluetooth® or AUX.
 
Older Bluetooth-capable Garmin navigators are compatible with the Garmin Smartphone Link app, and older Wi-Fi-enabled Garmin dash cams can access video footage through the Garmin VIRB app.

Ich könnte mich jetzt in einem einseitigen Brief darüber auslassen was an der Garmin Cam und der App alles gegen einen Kauf sprechen würde. Oder ihr akzeptiert einfach das ihr ein absolut überteuertes Markenprodukt kauft! Die Monatlichen Kosten wurden im Sommer 2024 von 6.- auf 15.- Lappen PRO MONAT erhöht. Dafür bekommt man Ein Disney oder Prime Abo! Garmin speichert dafür euer Unfallvideo der letzten 7 Tage.😂😂😂 Das entspricht ein paar MB auf dem Server.🤩🎉🎉🎉 Wer das akzeptiert gehört der Testgruppe (Mit mit kann man es machen) an!!

Es gibt sehr viel Möglichkeiten zu Einstellung. Es hat uns im Ausland präzise dort hingeführte wo wir wollten ohne Staus und Verzögerung. Nur in Norddeutschland gab es Probleme es meldet uns das die Straße die wir benutzen gesperrt sei. Lustig oder traurig war, das uns das Navi auf gesperrte Straße ableiten wollte.

Ich habe die App für meine DashCam. Funktioniert grundsätzlich wie es soll. Aber nach ein paar Wochen belegt die App unter Dokumente & Daten 2.2GB!! Speicher. Und das obwohl die DashCam Aufnahmen (eigentlich) ausschliesslich auf der SD Karte der Cam sein sollten. Was wird da gespeichert? Und wohin übertragen? Wenn die die App ohne Verbindung zur Cam ist, dann kann man auf keinerlei Bilddaten zugreifen. Bitte um Erklärung und idealerweise einen Button mit welchem man die Daten in der App bereinigen kann. Kann ja nicht sein, dass eine App xGB toter Daten ansammelt!
Des Weiteren war die App bisher rund 50MB gross. Inzwischen ist sie auf wuchtige 162MB angewachsen? Warum kann heutzutage nicht mehr schlank programmiert werden und sich auf wesentliche Funktionen beschränkt werden? Unverständlich.

Ca. 2 Monate nutzen wir die App und konnten uns gut darauf verlassen. Das Navi reagiert auf alle Meldungen schnell und wir konnten unsere Fahrten (Zürich-Sauerland in D) oder (Zürich-Münster in D) ohne langes Staustehen absolvieren. Klasse App. !

Ankommen ist ans Ziel ist mit Garmin 1090 so entspannt. Die Karte ist perfekt und auch die Updates sind super. 
Ansonsten ist es ein perfekter Reise Begleiter.

Je trouve facile l’importation des fichiers gpx. 
La possibilité d’avoir plusieurs gps  
De pouvoir utiliser le réseau ou le wifi pour importer. 
Le partage gpx. 

L’idéal serait de pouvoir:
1- Avoir le choix d’importer le fichier gpx sur le gps ou la carte mémoire externe. 
2- Qaund on a plusieurs gps avoir le nom du gps sur l’application et pas juste zumo xt. 
3- Avoir la possibilité de « ou aller » en positionnant sur une carte et pas juste avec le nom.

Kopiert man eine komplette Adresse von Google Maps rein, ignoriert die App alles nach dem Strassennamen und zeigt dann in einem zweiten Schritt mögliche Ortschaften an, welche zum Strassennamen passen.
