Gator Dash Cam

I’d give 0 stars if I could. Doesn’t work, even when trying other users tips of turning off data. I have a car driving on the wrong side of the road straight toward me - thought I had proof on this dashcam but absolutely nothing recorded! Complete waste of money for the dashcam.

Never works can’t view live live so slow and not reliable in an accident

They don’t tell you this but you need to have your mobile data turned off when using the app and the dash cam won’t record when it’s connected to your phone via the wifi so turn off auto connect! And make sure your wifi is not connected to the dash camera while you’re driving otherwise is will not record

I can’t watch the live view on my Apple phone my my brother can on his Samsung, can we please get an update to fix this bug

Since they have changed from the model specific app I can not down load the snaps. Have to take out the DD card and put in a laptop. When I try to replay a video it gives 1001 error. Have to download to my phone to review, so annoying. Great product now useless for its intended purpose.

The dashcam does not actually record videos because there is no way to connect to the app to see the videos. The live view also does not work. Make sure you do what I did, by reporting the company to the ACCC and filing a chargeback on your credit card. If we all do this, we can take down this scam together.

My experience with the Gator Dash Cam app post-update has been nothing short of infuriating. The switch from a model-specific app to this universal disaster has transformed my once reliable dash cam into a useless piece of tech. Despite not been cheap, the unit now refuses to record, live view is flat out refusing to work no matter how many updates get pushed, and every attempt to view clips in the folder ends in frustration-inducing error messages. This update is a colossal failure, turning what was once a trustworthy tool into a regrettable and costly mistake. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this app and its unreliable dash cam combo.

Live view doesn’t work. Fix this asap. Have synced multiple times and the same issue happens.

1 star because 0 stars isn’t an option. Live view won’t work, trips don’t work, app crashes, app is slow. Camera also won’t loop record so when the SD card is full it just stops recording anything without warning.
