We know the things that you type on your phone are personal, so we’ve designed Gboard to keep your private information private.
 
What Gboard sends to Google:
• Gboard sends your searches to Google’s web servers to give you search results.
• Gboard also sends usage statistics to Google to let us know which features are used most often and to help us understand problems if the app crashes.
• If you use Gboard’s microphone, voice input will be sent to Google for transcription.
 
What Gboard doesn’t send to Google:
• Other than your searches and voice inputs, Gboard doesn't send anything you type to Google, whether it’s a password or chat with a friend.
• To help you with spelling and to predict searches you might be interested in, Gboard will store the words you type on your device. This data is not accessible by Google or by any apps, and can be cleared at any time.
• If you’ve turned on contacts search in Gboard search settings, this allows Gboard to search the contacts on your device so that you can easily share. None of these queries is sent to Google.

I may be from Kenya but it doesn’t mean i love Kiswahili language. I dont even understand the meaning of some of the words. Why does my keyboard keep changing to swahili language. It is really bugging me. Can’t the app just take language settings from the language set on the system. When i setup my iphone if i wanted to see results or menus in ny local language i wouldve chosen kiswahili but i didnt why then does the keyboard keep changing. Someone please fix this FCK

Every time I have to use space 3 out of 10 times I hit the emoji key. Is it because I use the left thumb to hit spacebar? Does anyone use the right thumb for spacebar? The spacebar needs to be extended a lil bit to the left or move the emoji key to the right since it's rarely used compared to the spacebar.

Doesn't do so much exactly what I want. Feels like it has a mind of its own and is rather rebellious. I have to learn how to operate it.  Also I do not like this conspicuous colourful G icon on my Apple screen who's colour scheme I customised so well and dark colours. 
Nonetheless my move from SwiftKey, which crashed and refused to launch.
