I love Geico insurance! The team is great! They are very patient with customers! Times are hard and I appreciate the outstanding work y’all give to customers are always appreciated the time understanding and patience. Glitches often
The app is very slow and gotcha it kicks me out even though thow I asked to stay logged in. It times out during sessions constantly. Very annoying.
Drive Easy
The app is broken and the tracking is worst. If you don’t login and manually update your record you will be forced with charges. A good reason for geico to charge you more money? Absolutely horrendous service and user experience.
App drains battery heavily
This app is constantly and I mean constantly ping location even when idle sitting at my desk at work. Location is being used by this app and draining my battery on the iPhone. I’m stationary why is location being used when I’m sitting down. App is up to date and iOS is up to date. Geico please fix!!
Autopay
I have my payment on autopay why do i have to be login every single time and it says that I haven’t paid when it’s set up in auto pay like 🤦🏻♀️

DriveEasy is really buggy
DriveEasy’s hard break detection is random and has no rhyme or reason to it. When I think I healed a little hard at a corner, it says I didn’t. But other times when I took an annoying amount of time to slow gradually to a stop, it will ding me for hard breaking. God forbid I stop at a yellow light, who knows what it will do!
It also often indicates “phone handling” when my phone is sitting still, locked beside me. Not a phone call received, not a “hey siri” message read or song played. Just sitting there, and it randomly says the phone was handled, sometimes for miles at a time. It’s absolutely terrible, and really quite offensive. (I take pride in being known as an annoyingly cautious driver amongst family and friends.)
It’s also annoying when I actually DID need to handle the phone, I pulled into a parking space, turned off the engines to disengage blue tooth, and sat there a minute before using the phone, and it still indicated that was handling the phone while driving. It should be able to detect that the car is stopped and in a parking space.
