Gen E is the simple, tax deductible way to ease your eco-anxiety and support your best life on Earth. ENVIRONMENTAL ACTION WITH EVERY TRANSACTION: Automatically round up the change or donate a percent of everyday purchases to support environmental nonprofits fighting climate change, biodiversity loss, and plastic waste. Since it's nearly impossible to avoid the negative environmental impacts of daily consumer habits, Gen E allows you to easily step up and give back to the planet with every swipe. SET IT & (DON’T) FORGET IT: Choose how much to give and which nonprofits to support. That’s it - Gen E takes care of the rest while you go on living your best climate-friendly life. MAXIMIZE YOUR IMPACT: Feeling proactive? Step it up with Spot Impacts like planting trees, or make one-off donations to individual nonprofits with Spot Donations. PHILANTHROPY DASHBOARD: Just as with your other finances, you deserve to seamlessly track and manage your philanthropic activity over time . View your portfolio impact by the numbers and bask in the glory of your awesome contributions to the planet. ANNUAL TAX STATEMENT: To make tax-time easier, we store all your donation receipts and provide an annual statement for tax deductions. No more frantic inbox searches at year end. VETTED NONPROFITS: We’ve done the heavy lifting by narrowing down a list of nonprofits doing the most impactful work across the spectrum of environmental and climate change issues. Search by cause and add your faves to your portfolio so you can automatically support them. GET SOCIAL: The Community Actions social feed shows you all the positive climate action happening now. We’re in this together as a community of like-minded climate heroes rising up to protect our planet. #WeAreAllGenE PRIVACY & SECURITY: Donating via Gen E gives you privacy from solicitation. And we partner with industry-leading partners to ensure your data and payments are always safe and secure. SET UP IN MINUTES: Download the app, create your Gen E account, and complete two quick steps to activate your purchase-driven micro-philanthropy: Add a Funding Source - Add a credit or debit card to pay for your philanthropy. We’ll charge this card once a month with your total micro-philanthropy. We partner with Stripe to securely process these donation payments. Link a Purchase Tracker - Choose the account you use for everyday purchases. Linking this account pulls in your purchases so we can do the math and calculate your micro-philanthropy per purchase. For this, we partner with Plaid, the leader in linking financial institutions to apps. MICRO-PHILANTHROPY 101: Every purchase you make on your linked Purchase Tracker will automatically trigger a micro-philanthropy pledge. You’ll see the purchase and associated pledge in your Transactions feed. Once a month, we charge your Funding Source with the total sum of your monthly micro-philanthropy pledges. Your donations are fully tax-deductible, and we keep track of your donation receipts. All this happens automatically so you can go on being you. With Gen E, you’re part of a community stepping up to fund amazing environmental nonprofits making change at scale. Our cumulative impact will be epic. Join Gen E and start saving the planet now. Climate action through micro-donations, Generation Environment is the app that we have needed for a long time! Do you care about the environment and want to make a direct positive impact? GenE has streamlined this process by rounding up your everyday transactions to the nearest dollar and placing the change into your own personal donation fund. Each month, you can choose from a wide selection of vetted environmental organizations to support. The sign up process was incredibly easy to set up. The app is beautiful and easy to navigate. I love the fun bright look, and especially seeing my friends involved through the community page. Helping our planet through micro-donations has never been easier! -- Dereixmp, 2024-10-10 ### ***** "Great Environmental Philanthropy Solution" So many organizations to choose from that have been thoroughly vetted. I like that I can see the $ amount I have contributed so I can track my impact. I also like that I have the optionality to choose between % of each purchase vs rounding up the change. Very user friendly interface too!! -- James___6, 2023-07-10 ### ***** "Beautiful app. Beautiful mission. 🌎" I love Gen E. This app made it so easy to “turn on”my love for the planet, I’m able to go about my day as I normally would while protecting the future. The app is beautiful and I feel like I’m making a difference with every purchase. -- Ajax729, 2023-03-08 ### ***** "Great App" Love this and so easy to use! -- NYC2468!, 2022-04-22 ### ***** "What we all need! 🌍🌱" I tell everyone the best way to describe Gen E is it being the climate baby of Acorns and Venmo. As someone who’s active in the sustainability space, I understand that not everyone is as eager to take on the streets and protest or write letters to government officials. Gen E literally takes the guess work out of the equation and provides an effective pathway for me to take climate action without making “personal sacrifices”. Plus I love how I have so much oversight over the non-profits I’m donating to- all packaged within a beautifully designed app!! 11/10- highly recommend! -- LizzieLux31, 2021-12-02 ### ***** "Finally!" I’ve been looking for ways to contribute and make an impact while keeping record of all of my transactions. It really is microphilanthropy made simple, giving me the chance to look back and realize how small change can lead to real impact. Round up to the nearest dollar folks, it’s that easy! 🌎 -- T. Gabrielle, 2021-04-02 ### ***** "Awesome" Love the app design and the setup was super easy. Feels good to know that I’m donating toward good causes every time I make a purchase. Also cool to be able to learn about different ways to make an impact all in one place. Love it! -- TheOs114, 2021-03-08 ### ***** "Perfect" The app works well. I had no problem linking my credit card and contributing 1% of purchases. An easy way to help fund an important initiative without busting the budget. The app makes it easy to see where my contributions are going. Kudos.
