Description

Cerge is an Assistive Technology app for individuals with disability to receive personalised customer service from businesses they trust.
As a customer, an individual with disability faces fear, anxiety, and discrimination everyday.
Disabilities are unique per person & 71% are invisible making it impossible to train & educate service staff how to provide empathetic customer service for all situations.
When asked, people with disabilities say that between 75% – 80% of their customer experiences are failures.
The Cerge mission is to reduce the fear, anxiety and discrimination individuals with disability endure as customers.
What would you wish service staff knew about you, so when you arrive as their customer the experience is warm, welcoming and amazing? If you had a personal assistant that could race ahead of you into a store and give the service staff a quick heads up about you, what would you instruct your assistant to tell them? How could that change your life?
This is Cérge. He is your own personal digital concierge and you are his boss.
Cérge is an app for people with disability to control with who, where and when you share your customer service preferences in exchange for personalised customer service.
And in case the service was not up to scratch then leave a rating and review of their Accessible Customer Service so service staff can get better next time you visit.
Through Cérge you will be able to communicate from your app directly to service staff via their Point of Sale systems. With this information service staff will be able to provide you with personalised and empathetic customer service.
There are so many examples of how a little empathy can revolutionise the customer service experience for individuals with disability. For example, if you have a brain injury or PTSD then you may want an extra minute or two to feel comfortable and settled when you arrive at the shops before the barrage of questions start. Or if you have a visible disability then being spoken to in a loud and slow manner by staff that have no idea about disability, is offensive.
Download the Cerge app and give it a go. And please tell your favourite stores to get onboard to ensure you get personalised customer service everywhere you go.
We want everyone to have great experiences everyday and mindful of the challenges you or your friends and family face.
Have a great day.
Team Cérge
