I really like this game although I am really happy furina is coming on her 1st rerun I wish they gave more free primos cuz I have to swipe every time 😭
Fun but..
I’ve been playing genshin for roughly a year now, and it’s amazing, the story and gameplay and character and areas and open world exploration. It is almost unbeatable, the graphics even at the lowest setting are still stunning and the fighting aspect and events are amazing. One problem, the free to play experience is hard, I used to be f2p but I buy the occasional welkin or crystal top up but still being mostly f2p is a pain in the aaahhs. Hooverse needs to improve their rewards for f2p, they need to see how successful other games are becoming from offering free rewards instead of just giving us the smallest amount possible. But besides that the games amazing and I recommend you play it
Good but…
I’ve been playing this game on and off for 3 years due to lack of fulfilling content. If you’re a person who’s into games like Diablo where you can test the limits of your invested characters Genshin is probably not for you. There is a severe lack of end game content - there’s only really Spiral Abyss (which you can complete with full four star comps) or grinding the best builds to show off. However the reason I’ve rated it a lot higher is because the characters are really memorable and the designs are really well done - this is one of the only games I’ve been bothered to actually learn about the characters and the archon story is quite entertaining. If you like good character design, story (or exploration) Genshin is a great game!

Genshin Impact’s amazing lore, and everything else!
I am mad obsessed with this game, it’s super fun, there’s cool fighting stuff, and there’s even free food! Yum! :P The quality is altruistically top-notch, and I can’t stop playing! I’m glued to this game forever and ever~ I thought it was a payed game when I saw the graphics, but what happened? It’s free! No way. The Abyss Order, and there are so many locations to explore! There is boundless curiosity for me, and I want to play this game, more and more! I even got some free characters on Genshin Impact! THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK HOYOVERSEEEEEE
Controller Support
So I’ve been trying for the last hour to get my controller to work; checking the settings tab, uninstall and reinstall the app, making sure I’ve got the right controller. I thought maybe cause I have a 15PM with USB C Backbone that there was need of an update. Only to find out in a reddit thread that in order to turn on controller support, you need to play the tutorial missions first to unlock some character that enables the “settings” option in game, and THEN turn on controller support. Why is controller options not part of the settings tab before opening the game? Or auto switch to controller if it’s plugged in? As a first time player you’re kinda already putting me off.
