This app includes several examples of 3D math objects that you can place on your table, floor or any flat surface around you. Guided activities lead you to discover math in the real world by taking screenshots from different perspectives. 

We created this app to explore the potential of augmented reality for learning and teaching mathematics. This is just the start for GeoGebra AR! I have found this very helpful in helping visualize three dimensional graphs. I just wish I could add vector fields. That would be super cool. Especially with AR.

I love this app. I especially love wowing my friends by showing them pics of 3D graphs. That being said, I wish I could also take video of the graph. That way I could film moving around the graph. That’s the coolest part in my opinion.

I have the iPhone X and it appears the equations and any text are cut off of the bottom of my screen. Is this a compatibility issue? I’d love to play with the program and use it with my high school math students this fall.

I can barely remember basic trig rules, but simply plugging large constants/ exponents in and dividing the binomial by weird values gave me some really beautiful and strange patterns. 

An option to remove the graph axis along with the background and surface would be great for artistic uses of screenshots if the dev’s are looking for an easy improvement but this is a minor quibble. 

Definitely one of the best “hidden gems” I’ve come across on the AppStore.
