## Geokey Description
Geokey is the world's first multi-dimensional mobile access solution for businesses. No more key fobs, just your phone. Touchless access is here. A simple swipe to open is all it takes. Geokey is not a one-size-fits-all type of security solution. We can integrate with any type of door or software. Our job is to incorporate seamlessly into your life.

Users can log in to control (lock/unlock) and interact with available access points supplied via a list view and map view. Track how many times you accessed a point, what time's of the day you were there, and HOW LONG YOU WERE THERE FOR! Download your Geokey to be apart of one of the first controlled access solutions that will track duration of access.

Admin controllers have the ability to control when and which access points their users can have access to. Define user's access by day of the week, time of the day, or by the number of access points.

Simplicity for our users is our motto and mission. Get a push notification if you are close to an access point. Pull up your app and unlock your access point to enter.

Even though Geokey has a simple front end user experience, the backend has extra security measures to keep everyone safe. Admin can choose if users are required to use two-factor identification for access to their Geokey. Make sure the people that are coming in are the people they say they are.

It takes too long to get into my apartment. I’ve been stalked in the past before and it shouldn’t take a minute for me to get back into my apartment. Please be mindful of this.

There is no benefit for implementing this app, even if it did work perfectly(which it obviously doesn’t). Instead of a physical keycard we have to use this app to open all the doors in my apartment complex. It takes at least 5 seconds to open any door(including my room) and half the time the app will say it was successful, but the door won’t open. If we had a physical keycard, it would just scan and open. It also takes forever to sort through which door is the one we need. Sure it has a favorite function, but I wouldn’t need a favorite function if I just had a keycard. Also, now that my phone is my key, I need to keep my key charged, connected to the internet, and keep my phone on me at all times.

Additionally, there is no benefit to using this app over a physical keycard. A physical key can do everything this app can do, and the physical key is more convenient than this app.

Plain and simple review: after having the lock installed on my apartment door for a month, the lock has become completely unresponsive to the app. If you use this, you will end up with a broken lock and no way to unlock it. Do not install this at your property.

Electronic apps particularly in areas that do not have great service are a recipe for disaster. This app is spotty at best. Our complex put this on the gym / clubhouse and I love getting up at 430am, taking pre workout just to get over there and you can’t get in the door when it’s supposed to be open at 5am.
Chat help is essentially useless as they always blame maintenance. Do not recommend

Our apartment complex recently switched to GeoKey instead of barcodes for our cars. To open our gates, we now have to take out our phones while driving, open the app and pick the location of the gate we are at. 75% of the time, it'll say you're too far to open it, despite staring directly to my right at the "geo" key reader less than 3 meters away. Then I will sit at the gate, maybe even have to restart the app, and try again. Good news is it has never taken more than 3 tries. For the love of god, look at the ratings of this garbage before forcing your residents to swap to this horrendous replacement.

Spent an entire day fighting the app. Turned a 2 hour move in into an 8 hour struggle. Couldn’t access elevators or exterior doors. Had to walk up six flights of stairs with boxes instead of using the elevator. Customer support had no amswers except “reboot your phone.” Total failure of an app.

This platform has been nothing but problematic since it was rolled out across our apartment community. I live in a building where parking is subterranean, so the cellular signals are weak and there’s no community WiFi. I would say that these are the primary contributing issues but even on surface levels, you will often be met with “connectivity” issues or inability to access your property based on perceived location of the device you’re using to gain entry. - I will give the company kudos in that it is very easy to connect with a support representative, but the initial recommendations are that you should restart your phone after deleting and redownloading the app. (Which also requires a separate verification process.) I’ve had to plead with representatives while locked outside in freezing temperatures or torrential rain and in many cases, they can remotely unlock the door. That’s nice, but if I didn’t have my phone or if the power had been off, I’d’ve been screwed.

When I’m walking up to my apartment door and holding groceries in one hand and my phone with this app open in the other hand, it’s difficult to “tap” to unlock without my finger sliding a bit. But because my finger slid, it doesn’t register as a tap, and nothing happens. But I don’t know that for several seconds while I wait for the door to unlock. What would help is if when I successfully tap, the button darkens briefly and the phone vibrates to tell me it was successful. Then if not, I’ll immediately know and won’t have to wait several seconds. Thanks!

The geo key app has a decent, easy to use interface and great idea. In reality, the app has terrible connection issues, and when that’s the only way to get in your door, that’s a real pain in the butt. By the other ratings you can see I’m far from the only person to experience poor or even no connection when trying to access geo key doorways.
