No internet, no problem

You can still complete your studies even if you are restricted from using the internet or your internet is down. Really helpful and efficient!

Hard sales tactics!

I'm trying to sample this app before I buy but the relentless sales pitch is obnoxious! And many other ads too. Sometimes I cant even close the ad windows get back to the app! Tempted to go elsewhere out of sheer annoyance…. Give it a rest!

Tremendous dictionary

Version gives a wide variety of explanations and sentence use for any given word. I am strongly thinking about the ad free version.

The Only Translation App Für Mich

I downloaded a few German translator apps to try after Google translate burned me on mistranslating a few phrases. A lot of these programs are great for direct translations of a single word but fall apart when you try to make actual phrases. This app has a database of related real phrases it will dig into to provide actual translations with correct grammar and (most of the time) word choice given subtle shifts in cultural meaning. They’ll even throw out additional phrases using the words you are searching for so you can see it in other contexts. Often these can be very funny. Also, the premium version is a one-time payment and you get access to everything offline. There are functions for accessing your history and bookmarking favorites too. 1A Gute Ware! Vielen dank!

Flexible

This app is very quick and flexible to use as a prep for speaking or as a learning aid.

Ads are overwhelming

Seems like an interesting idea, but I barely started to use the app and ads were continually covering everything up. Deleted it.

German Offline Translator is the ultimate supplemental app for any app-based German language learning. Use it in conjunction with other programs to create and improvise your own sentences in addition to excellent translation capability. A must have.

Interference by ads make it impossible to use for a full sentence.

Probably would be great if the ads didn’t prevent entering text.
