Play now on your smartphone or tablet! Free to play. Track your Stats. Take on smart AI. This fun game is a two-player variation of classic Whist, a great game to learn card skills, relax and enjoy. The aim of the game is to take more tricks than your opponent. The winner is the first player to reach the win target, either 10, 25 or 50 points. Make sure to track your all time and session stats to follow your improvement as you learn! Customise the version of German Whist you want! ● Choose your win target ● Choose between last 13 or every trick scoring ● Choose easy or hard mode ● Choose normal or fast play ● Play in landscape or portrait mode ● Turn single click play on or off ● Sort cards in ascending or descending order ● Replay and hand at the end of a round ● Review the previous tricks taken during a hand For a more fast-paced version of German Whist, choose our new ‘Small Whist’ game option to play with a cut down piquet 32 card deck. You can also customise your colour themes and card decks to choose from to keep the landscape interesting! Quickfire Rules: German Whist is divided into two sections: the Foreplay and the Endgame. During the foreplay, players select cards from their hand in order to win or lose cards turned over from the main deck. In the endgame, they play their resulting hands against each other to win tricks. A card is beaten either by a higher card of the same suit, or any Trump card. Once a card is played, other players must play a card from the same suit. If they do not hold any cards from this suit, they may choose to Trump, or Throw Away by playing any non-trump card. One point is scored for every trick a player wins over six in ‘Last 13’ scoring, or every trick over 13 in ‘Every Trick’ scoring mode. ## German Whist Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/84/6a/f5/846af581-6e56-76f8-ec74-dd5e4f1e1f83/f774fbd6-0e97-402c-955e-c88612e13827_Photo_29-09-2022_U002c_11_17_45.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/5a/99/72/5a9972a8-d03c-2f39-1227-b18ebba63834/9215413e-bc07-49e5-bd7f-92784e48e10a_Photo_29-09-2022_U002c_11_18_07.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/fc/2b/2c/fc2b2c4c-60ea-7ee8-363b-16044ad38c51/1e619989-3ffa-45b6-87b2-35c025779985_Photo_29-09-2022_U002c_11_25_16.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource122/v4/59/1c/ef/591cef25-b77b-b7ff-af71-e76c0b097256/9ea9d902-a57b-4922-b833-63b9e6f2468d_Photo_29-09-2022_U002c_11_45_45.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/33/42/2e/33422eb1-0015-1a12-c754-4fa3e72af796/812b6ec5-5e87-4d25-a88d-b805fea82d79_Photo_29-09-2022_U002c_11_26_15.png/2688x1242.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource112/v4/b4/f0/0a/b4f00a12-def8-575e-099a-07f1578c78db/70d0ea66-3417-4265-9436-d275f73bbd65_Photo_29-09-2022_U002c_11_27_34.png/2688x1242.png) ## German Whist Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 61 (80%) - 4 stars: 12 (16%) - 3 stars: 2 (3%) - 2 stars: 1 (1%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## German Whist Reviews in United States ### ****- "Great way to learn" I have enjoyed playing this game while learning how to play better. I played easy for a while, but got tired of winning every hand. However, when I switched to hard, I still win about 80% of the time. Maybe some work could be done on the computer’s skill level! Otherwise, a good game! -- Suzyqmoffatt, 2025-06-06 ### ***** "Great app" Awesome programming. Simple way to learn this card game. Computer plays well unlike so many others apps. I highly recommend -- SuperCandthegang, 2025-01-29 ### ***** "Easy to learn" Nice mix of strategy and luck! Ads are not annoying. -- 19nancy46, 2024-08-30 ### **--- "Disappointment" I really want to like this game, but it’s a disappointment. The easy level is far too easy, and I win every game. The hard level is impossible to win. Can there not be a middle ground?? It’s a great game if you like to win every time on the easy level! I did enjoy the game at first, so I gave it 2 stars. Don’t get this unless you want to be frustrated! -- Ms Tina89, 2024-01-19 ### ***** "Nice and simple" Not a fancy flashy game. Just true to the card game -- PSU.CA, 2023-10-25 [View all German Whist reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## German Whist In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | German Whist Premium | $2.99 | ## German Whist Discovered Keywords - german whist ## Apps Similar to German Whist - [Gin Rummy Dark: Card Game](https://apptail.io/app/gin-rummy-dark-card-game-RImc/united-states) - [The Golf Card Game](https://apptail.io/app/the-golf-card-game-yDWc/united-states) - [Finished! – Puzzly Solitaire](https://apptail.io/app/finished-puzzly-solitaire-MYWc/united-states) - [Barouche](https://apptail.io/app/barouche-wYGg/united-states) - [5-Handed Pinochle](https://apptail.io/app/5-handed-pinochle-EYGg/united-states) - [Nap Whist](https://apptail.io/app/nap-whist-adHg/united-states) - [Nomination Whist](https://apptail.io/app/nomination-whist-qmKg/united-states) - [Knockout Whist](https://apptail.io/app/knockout-whist-smKg/united-states) - [Big Ships Noms](https://apptail.io/app/big-ships-noms-UOVi/united-states) - [Skat Offline Lernen](https://apptail.io/app/skat-offline-lernen-xhzv/united-states) ## German Whist Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/united-kingdom) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/canada) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/denmark) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/australia) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/ireland) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/south-africa) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/austria) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/germany) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/new-zealand) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/sweden) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/belgium) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/india) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/france) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/greece) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/hong-kong) - [Indonesia](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/indonesia) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/israel) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/italy) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/japan) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/south-korea) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/kuwait) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/united-arab-emirates) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/lebanon) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/nigeria) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/netherlands) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/norway) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/peru) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/romania) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/russia) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/saudi-arabia) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/singapore) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/turkey) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/ukraine) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/vietnam) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/kazakhstan) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/azerbaijan) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/bulgaria) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/brazil) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/switzerland) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/colombia) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/czechia) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/dominican-republic) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/algeria) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/egypt) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/spain) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/german-whist-rhKg/finland) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
