## Getting Over It Description
A game I made
For a certain kind of person

To hurt them.

• Climb up an enormous mountain with nothing but a hammer and a pot.
• Listen as I make philosophical observations about the problem at hand.
• Between 2 and ∞ hours of agonizing gameplay, depending. The median time to finish for my playtesters was 5 hours, but the mean was closer to ∞.
• Lose all your progress, over and over.
• Feel new types of frustration you didn't know you were capable of.

## Getting Over It Reviews in United States

### *---- "Roman"
Can’t get past the stairs
-- To hard to get through, 2025-06-02

### *---- "DEIZIWSOWOWRUFOWDORHOESKRKGKEXP"
Dude fix your game the hammer glitches and goes through objects
-- Viktor Burshtein, 2025-05-24

### ***** "This game is still easy but the monologue is perfect and deep"
I went through the lakeside, up the granite rocks, up The chimney, up the construction site, into the city, or whatever that is, climbed up the small stone mountain thingy, went across the church and didn’t got jump scared by the bats, past the 4 more floating rocks, up the bucket, up the notches, up the tall internet tower and finally in space where bro Kim Il sung
-- maggieqi0822, 2025-05-08

### ***** "getting over it"
Wonderful game it will make you frustrated at some points but if you stay stuck with it the ending will feel amazing.
-- Godsent70, 2025-05-06

### ***** "A Really Beautiful Game"
The more you beat the game, the easier it gets. But Foddy’s point about the game being unpredictable stays; the game will still mess with you. But that never stops me from seeing the beauty in this game. Not only from Foddy’s quotes, songs and speeches, but the scenery. It reminds me of nice places and it’s all so beautiful. The game actually becomes very fun after winning some amount of times.
On a phone, I thought the game would be harder, but I couldn’t be any more wrong. It just takes time to adjust to the physics and obstacles. I use my thumb and it’s really comfortable (until you feel like you have a friction burn).
-- Dylanz333, 2025-05-02

### ***** "It’s good"
It’s a good game but it’s hard to control it on mobile devices I can’t even pass the 2nd part after the tree
-- 92&2922&822&29’w, 2025-04-28

### *---- "No"
THIS IS HORIBLE.
-- BIG DAWG 7098, 2025-04-26

### ***** "Getting Over It"
Hard, but worth it to stick through and beat, it teaches you some things
-- Invincible47135, 2025-04-12

### ***** "The change of my life"
Thank you Bennet Foddy, for this wonderful game! It took me a whole lot of time and effort to complete this game.
God bless.
-- MobianSaiyan, 2025-03-30

### ***-- "good game, controls dont translate well"
so, the controls seem like they would be amazing on mobile, they’re not. The scratch version is better. Get it on your computer.
