## Gift Exchange Mobile Description
The easy and fun way to do your name drawings for gift exchanges. Participants may be selected from contacts or entered manually. Participants may be selected to notify by email or text. The text option even works with wifi only devices (iPad or iPod Touch) because it uses the various carriers email to SMS gateways for sending. Notification messages may be customized. The person running the app does not need to see the names drawn.

You may group your participants so that they will not draw a name of someone in the same group. This is often used for spouses. The app also maintains exchange history and will prevent participants from drawing the same name as the previous drawing.

Each participant may be designated as "Gives and receives a gift in shared exchange", "Gives and receives in shared exchange, also may give to receive only participant(s)", "Does not receive gift, may give to receive only participant(s)", or "Does not give gift, receive only. For example, child". The results can be printed to an Airprint printer for each participant without email, or who want a printed copy. History display shows the name drawn and gift given for each person for previous drawings.

There is no advertising. Your data is on your device and backed up when you perform iTunes/iCloud backup. Compatible with PC Gift Exchange files. You may email your *.gx files from PC to yourself and open on iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Multiple exchanges may be created and saved. For example, an exchange file can be used for your direct family. A separate file may be used for an exchange for your spouse’s family. Optional gift suggestions may be included in notification emails. The organizer may add any suggestions received and the option will appear to notify the person who has that name.

## Gift Exchange Mobile Reviews in United States

### *---- "Frustrating"
I liked the lite version for my families gift exchange but I've added a new person so had to upgrade to get eight participants. It's clunky and needs to know more information but doesn't say why. It didn't transfer the info from the lite version. I just wanted it to remember the names everyone got last year but nope. I was hoping the texting would make it easier for some but it sends it as an email and needs the carrier. My carrier isn't even an option. Something that should be so simple is a royal pain. I would have been happy if I could add more people to the lite version. This was definitely not worth the $2.99.

### ***** "Quick and easy for Christmas names"
Nice app, we have used it for four years. It is very handy.
-- root314159, 2019-12-12

### ***** "Great for Christmas names"
The new update is great! We have used it for several years. The grouping to keep people from getting their SO name and history limit to keep people from getting the same name as last year is very good.
-- Zod936, 2019-12-11

### *---- "Don’t buy this app!"
It is a pain to use. Takes forever to set up, and no matter the settings will not show the organizer who has been chosen. Too many steps. Bad design, bad execution!
-- Jendharding, 2019-12-01

### *---- "Terrible.."
This app is terrible. I put everyone’s names and numbers in and it won’t send. It just keeps saying “sending” forever and never sends.
-- Abbiebrkr97, 2019-11-19

### *---- "Don’t pay for this app"
Used it last year and after a few hours of trying to send names out it worked. However this year it just is not working after countless attempts. I even added everyone several times and it never sent out the notifications.
-- Chip~09, 2018-12-11

### ****- "Its great but....."
If you have more than 7 participates you need the paid version
-- leo0151, 2018-11-26

### ***-- "Meh"
Meh, meh. Clunky Ap. Not easy to use. Too many steps to set up
-- 1dad5kidsinsane, 2016-11-25

### ***** "Really nice"
It worked great for our family. I like the history display.
-- lw119, 2015-12-21

### ***** "Good app"
First time user, looks like it works great!!
