Whats the point of having a profile, when i cant apply any job. In other case, managers cancelling my job out of sudden. No discussion, just freely cancelling job 1 hour before checking in. How inhumane to do something like that to a person who doesn’t have an actual job. A job I applied for appeared under “My Scheduled Jobs”, so I understood that the job was confirmed and followed the instructions to arrive 30 minutes early. However, when I arrived at the outlet, the staff were not aware that I was scheduled to work and my name was not on their schedule. I was eventually asked to go home. The main issue is the lack of clear communication and support. The app indicates that a job appearing under “My Scheduled Jobs” is confirmed, but there does not seem to be clear information on whether we still need to receive a separate confirmation from Gigsmesh before attending. What is even more frustrating is that there is no clear customer service contact number, email address, or person in charge that users can contact for urgent job-related issues. The only email/contact option I could find appears to be specifically for payment-related matters. I would strongly suggest Gigsmesh: * Clearly explain the job confirmation process in the app. * Provide a customer service hotline/WhatsApp/contact number for urgent matters. * Provide a proper customer service email for general enquiries and complaints. * Have a dedicated PIC or support channel for workers who arrive at a workplace but encounter scheduling or confirmation issues. * Clearly explain the consequences of cancellations or unsuccessful shifts, especially when the issue is caused by communication or scheduling problems. I hope Gigsmesh can improve the communication and customer support system because part-time workers are investing their time, money and effort to attend these jobs.
