Everything works fine and it is really well designed! Good job GitHub! One thing: Can you add options to manage/delete your repositories? Thank you!

Remove annoying copilot button

ecnepsnai on

Why does there need to be a floating button on every page in the app just to sell me on a feature I don't want and won't pay for. It's insulting that you didn't add a "no thanks" button that dismisses it.

Great app with terrible side-effects

Cuducos on

Canada

The app is great, but the security side-effect is a series of disasters. First, once you start using the app it configures itself as the primary MFA method without your knowledge. If you uninstall the app, you need to reinstall and log off, otherwise GitHub keeps the app as a MFA method. If you keep it, you cannot disable the app as a MFA. And the app has no security lock (password or Face ID), so it is a permanent risk to you GitHub account.

GitHub is certainly that.

Non intuitive

zqwzzle on

Makes it unnecessarily opaque and difficult to figure out how to review a PR, which you would think would be on of the main actions you would want to do for a PR.
