## GivInstaller Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "What a waste."
Support team a complete waste of time. Requested assistance three days ago still no reply. They have all the details of my account yet they still waste my time asking for them.
-- Disallusioned2, 2025-11-06

### *---- "Useless"
Simply doesn’t work, can’t get passed the use camera option , even though everything is enabled in the settings to use the App it constantly asks for the camera.. unable to update my dongle WiFi so now unable to update any time changes. What a total PITA…. I give up.
-- Mikeyboy4255, 2025-10-26

### *---- "Total waste of time"
The app software just wants access to everything on your phone and then it doesn’t do any updates
A total waste of your time and effort
-- Red rob2, 2025-10-04

### *---- "Useless for router updating despite its new look."
I downloaded this as instructed by GivEnergy to adapt my inverter to a new router. 8 attempts later I give up - the app just identifies the inverter dongle as a network and doesn’t see my router even though it asks me to input SSID and password. It seems to then call up the dongle s/n instead of the wifi network.

Consequently the GivEnergy app is useless too unless this is resolved.

Tried to raise this with the Chatbot help line 5 times - but just received messages to try later!

Despite the recent update it’s still dysfunctional and totally useless.
-- Looe traveller, 2025-09-23

### *---- "Unable to reconnect to new router"
As others have said the system just does not work and after 3 hours on the chat I was cut off as the handler had no clue and gave up.
-- Frustrated 010, 2025-09-12

### *---- "Useless"
I have spent hours trying to connect to my new router.
Phone calls to Give Energy customer helpline simply do not connect, What's App conversation total waste of time with operative handling a number of conversations at the same time and then sending a complete useless instruction video.
Email to Give Energy customer support still un answered after 5 working days.
Absolutely Woeful!!!
-- Girlsbear, 2025-08-21

### *---- "It doesn’t work"
So frustrating. Unable to access my dashboard after new broadband provider. My accounts email address and password are not recognised by this installer program and so am unable to update the WiFi details. Worried my smart meter may not be working. The WhatsApp Chat is useless, no response after several attempts during published active hours. A truly bad customer experience.
-- Jimmy Foxbat, 2025-08-10

### *---- "Utterly useless!"
I cannot believe that GivEnergy are associated with this totally dysfunctional App - as everyone has found, simply trying to change WiFi provider is impossible. You just go round in circles for what should be a very straightforward process.
I’m going to have to try & contact GivEnergy to see if there’s another way to do this.
-- The Doc 1956, 2025-07-07

### *---- "Waste of time"
You can not update WiFi details.
-- ToleranceTested, 2025-04-27

### *---- "Seriously?"
Trying to use this to update my WiFi settings is proving difficult/ maybe impossible.
The app just doesn’t work. Screen sizing is wrong, is it a guide or an actual functioning controller? Gets stuck in a loop trying to authorise camera.
Pay someone to sort this GivEnergy.
