There is no way to make the progress bar disappear which is annoying.

My first, one-star, review of this app, a year or so ago, described it as dreadful and unusable, and I stopped using it altogether. Now I have to say that it has improved significantly. It seems stable; it has not lost my books again; it can display in landscape. It feels like version 1.0 should have felt. One functionality gap is the ability to highlight a word or phrase and look it up. I suspect this is linked to the desire to prevent the copying of text, but all it means is that one has to screenshot/OCR text to paste it elsewhere; thereby making work for the user without achieving the app builder’s aim. The lightweight authentication process appears to work, and I like how that works (but wonder what happens if the company were to disappear - presumably my library would disappear too?) I haven’t yet tried the audiobook reader, so will not comment on that.

I am blown away by how easy this app is to use and it is really changing the way I read books. It has encouraged me to read more and I recommend to anyone who loves reading or wants to really get into reading. It’s also really got me into audio books.😍😍😍
