## Glassdoor Reviews in United States

### *---- "was a great app, but now has lost its grip"
1. poor user journey - cannot simply search, pushes some bogus screens on you
2. cannot filter search !
3. low grade AI - I understand cost saving, but this is too low
-- CalifAndrUSA, 2026-09-12

### ***-- "Can’t skip questions"
I used to like the Glassdoor app but now it keeps asking me questions that I can’t skip. It keeps popping up asking for a review every 20 seconds after declining in the same scroll.
-- faighe, 2026-09-10

### *---- "Intrusive policy"
They new require your phone number. The utility of this app has gone way down hill and their requirements for more of your private information mean I can no longer use it. It’s a shame really.
-- Seattle Taylor, 2026-09-09

### *---- "NEW Terms of Service Waiver"
This pop up is impassable and makes the app unusable. Thanks so much for the waste of time. Awesome.
-- Unlitlanterns, 2026-09-08

### **--- "Forced Sign Up"
When you open the app now it tries to force you to sign up for their recruitment platform with Indeed. That’s not what I use this for and it shouldn’t be forced. Stop it .
-- B023243, 2026-09-08

### *---- "Stuck at glassdoor recruiter beta"
Stuck at glassdoor recruiter beta set up even though i don’t want use Glassdoor to look for jobs! I just want see company review. Immediate uninstall
-- Rajendra 20, 2026-09-07

### *---- "It doesn’t work well"
This app is dirt.
-- Ke._, 2026-09-06

### ***** "Indigenous"
Unspoken
-- Aladd In, 2026-09-06

### ***** "Easiest job search"
This app is perfect, never had a problem finding a job.
-- Sudden-thunder, 2026-09-04

### *---- "Indeed broke privacy settings"
They keep sending me updates to my old email address, but won’t let me login with it, and won’t send a password reset email.

After creating a new account with Indeed, they force you to verify your cell number and I cannot trust them to keep my info private.
-- Hiro9, 2026-09-04

### ***** "Great"
Great
-- jdhshdbddb, 2026-09-03

### ***-- "Clunky"
App UI and UX is poor. Indeed integration seems to make it worse.
-- AlanReviewsThings, 2026-09-03

### ***** "Just think I found my next job!"
Hey Glassdoor folks, I appreciate the guidance towards my possible next career and showing me tons of options & opportunities. Thank you!
-- JonathanC21, 2026-09-03

### ***** "Glassdoor is the door to new opportunities"
Very Good service
-- docakp, 2026-09-02

### *---- "AI Interface is Nonfunctional"
Unlike the desktop version, the Glassdoor app traps you in its AI “Glassdoor Recruiter” platform (still in beta) with no option to access regular Glassdoor. The AI pops up to “assist” even when you’re clicking to input text somewhere, so you have to suggest to the chatbot what to do instead of just typing what you would like to say. When I asked this chatbot if there was a way to access the normal functions of Glassdoor within the app, the bot misunderstood my use of the word “recruiter,” (the name of the AI platform) and wrote for me a description about how I don’t want to work with a recruiter and want a direct-hire role, and then added this nonsense description to my profile without my knowledge or input. Extremely frustrating.
-- Wheres_Roy, 2026-09-02

### *---- "Horrible experience since indeed acquisition"
Needs too much info every since indeed acquired GD. And indeed has sold my personal info in the past, leading to a lot of spam email and phone calls/messages
-- Jyn, 2026-09-02

### *---- "AI made the app unusable"
I have been using Glassdoor to view/apply for jobs and opening the app today to the new (and unavoidable) “recruiter” AI setup has made the app unusable. You are now unable to use a manual search filter and I can find even less jobs than I was able to before. Completely unnecessary use of AI to make the app worse. I’m using it to follow through with any applications I have sent in but I’m stopping using Glassdoor now. I want a job search app, not an LLM with a job search function
-- satanicnoodles, 2026-09-02

### ***** "Great place to look for a job"
Great app to look for jobs
-- Peluche2note, 2026-08-31

### *---- "AI ruins the experience"
The new ai popup makes the app much harder to use. The information isn’t relevant and it is frustrating have to fight to navigate the app traditionally. I know what I want to search for and the ai adds no value.
-- Alex Kinley, 2026-08-31

### *---- "This app sucks"
Why are you showing me jobs that are 300 miles away when I have it set for 25 and then the jobs in my area seems like there’s only 20 even though I’m in the middle of a big city because every job I clicked on it already applied
-- appisaschecks, 2026-08-30
