The last 2 eSIMs for my trip would not even install (and I’ve bought dozens of eSIMs from different companies and never had this issue) making it a really bad experience landing in a foreign country and expecting to be able to connect but nothing! Had to scramble to get other eSIMs last minute and now the company won’t even refund me!! Such a waste!
I had been using this on my son's phone when he travel to the US for basketball tournaments from Canada. It is cheaper than many other providers and worked well every time, except for the past weekend. I reached them out via support, and the agent always responded with professionalism. As soon as I provided everything needed they processed the refund. Hopefully it will work fine the next time.
The service is cheap, but the app is a disaster. For some reason this eSIM app includes music, NFTs and a crypto wallet?? I can’t take a company like this seriously. If they just have a separate app for eSIM’s out would look more legitimate and functional- there’s no way I can recommend this to anybody I know.

You will not find a better eSIM out there. These guys aren’t trying to rake you over the coals with their prices. I’m even using it domestically on my cellular ipad instead of paying for a plan/sharing my phone data. 89c usd for 1gb for a day in most 1st world countries. Ping is 200-300ms but if you’re in a 5g service area I’m getting 300mbs at least.
DO NOT CHOOSE GLOBAL YO FOR ESIM. I Bought a 30-day 10G eSIM for my Japan trip in May from Global Yo. 30% of the time during my trip was no service. Trying to contact the customer service multiple times during the trip, no response at all. Had to buy eSIM from other app. DO NOT CHOOSE Global Yo as your eSIM provider. No reliable service, no customer service at all.
I used the app to purchase an eSIM for use during a trip to Las Vegas. Setup was easy and the service worked great. The app interface seems a little gimmicky, but everything worked as expected and the prices are unbeatable.
Bought a 20g US sim for 15.30 USD (21.02 CAD), they then charged me $84.08 CAD and won’t reply when you reach out on their app or through their support email. The eSIM itself worked great, a little slow but easy to set up and use. However I didn’t sign up to being charged literally 4x the amount of 1 e-sim. This company is a scam and I would just suggest Airalo even if they are slightly more expensive, they are reliable, and you can use code LANA1718 for a discount the first time you purchase.
Purchased on the website with my google account. Downloaded the app but there’s no google sign in, only facebook and apple. As a mobile developer, the UI is god awful and not intuitive at all. Who the hell designed this app? Freshmen?
50 gb for 20-30 dollars is probably the best plan you can get for that price.
