The 3D global map shows all official designations for various surface features. If you are interested in a specific region, an even higher resolution local 3D map view can be loaded for a closer look at the craters, mountains and other formations. In addition, a mission log of all Mars missions since 1960 has been included. Since version 0.4 we show the landing region of NASA's Mars2020 mission. The extra high-resolution landing site map was generated using HiRISE data from the Mars Global Observer. Here you can see the rover's surroundings in Jezero Crater. In addition, you can enhance the heights in the 3D map to get an even better impression of the height gradients. The map shows the movements of the Perseverance rover and the Ingenuity helicopter, so you can follow the current mission progress on this map. Since version 0.7 there are now impressive detailed views created from the photos of Percy and Ingy using photogrammetry. Look at the stones and rock formations as if you are right there on Mars! These great detailed views have been integrated into the M2020 history list. From version 0.8 we support 12 additional languages, so the app is now available in a total of 18 languages. We hope you enjoy exploring the red planet virtually. ## GlobeViewer Mars Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/12/d0/e4/12d0e4d0-8e0a-95bd-7fba-ee0f1e051139/996d2d78-38a1-41ce-ab24-c9d2ffc2fbdb_Mars_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/2e/bf/41/2ebf4158-69c7-2ee2-032a-310b21cbf36e/Mars1a_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/06/e7/68/06e76896-446f-35a7-e7cf-823a208af41b/4992af5d-2846-424e-b2f7-9efdf36262f4_Mars1_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/a3/24/0a/a3240a4a-3dbd-2325-e41d-4eb0e7eb4cbb/05386abd-9904-4ea5-8df7-e9fc419d7d96_Mars3_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/49/46/cf/4946cfa6-b28b-fa90-e43f-8a27f08ae527/b7715742-ea30-42a3-b41a-2d98160c0f07_Mars4_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/b0/9d/10/b09d105d-9434-0f6c-f5ab-52349c55b40a/dffeada6-5533-46bf-9470-a04e1e706680_Mars5_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/fe/08/ef/fe08efb9-5534-703c-daa2-97194529dc6e/bbd002db-9297-499c-a94a-ae050264d65d_Mars6_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 8](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/9a/6a/65/9a6a6572-dc6e-143a-a11d-761c6403d652/51335749-edd5-431c-9eb1-94be1e92625c_Mars9_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 9](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/90/83/ee/9083ee2a-46d0-9d0a-a419-567f0351e862/6530dc5d-538c-468e-9f0e-df1e1f53c74c_Mars7_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) - [Screenshot 10](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource211/v4/66/d5/e0/66d5e02b-67db-02e7-48bf-79e3a6a3b499/bfe39d6a-d043-42ba-917a-742aed9782c1_Mars8_iPhone65_EN.png/2778x1284.png) ## GlobeViewer Mars Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 2 (40%) - 4 stars: 1 (20%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 2 (40%) ## GlobeViewer Mars Reviews in United States ### ***** "A work of art and science" The craftsmanship displayed in the details of the surface are incredible. I appreciate the ability to zoom into different sites and see the definition. It is well worth the investment for the paid version. The modest charge insures you will not be distracted by ads. This is an educational app that is a wonderful gift for astronomers of all ages. It can provide relaxation for adults and education to students. It is a great way to stir curiosity in anyone of any age. The only limiting factor is the depth of the databases the cartography is based on. Remember, we are only at the start of 21st Century exploration. In the coming decades there will be a flood of discoveries as humans land on the planet and establish stations. The next generation of astronauts and other explorers literally have “A whole new world” before them. Perhaps they will have started their journey with this app. -- SF Presidio, 2024-08-19 ### *---- "Useless at high res" because you are directed to commercials every minute (weight loss commercial: “lose 55 pounds in one week!”) and redirected to a website pushing the product. Useless. -- Cancels end, 2021-03-01 [View all GlobeViewer Mars reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## GlobeViewer Mars In-App Purchases | Item | Price | |------|-------| | Professional version | $13.99 | | No Ads | $1.99 | | Upgrade to Pro | $11.99 | ## Apps Similar to GlobeViewer Mars -
