Go Terrain Reviews

This app is great!

I found this app to be an awesome tool for my detecting hobby. I use a Minelab Manticore and don’t even have an XP detector. The app will track your route and you are able to document any finds including exact locations with details. I look forward to getting a Deus 2 to add to my collection. Also, XP has lightning fast responses to any questions and my experience is they are a first class company for any metal detecting enthusiast.

Trouble signing in

Hugo Heriz-Smith on

I am trying to login with Apple, as I have before, but I keep getting a message that reads “Connection Problems” even though I’ve signed in this way before. I’m on WiFi and also have a good mobile signal.

Says email not found

Subscribed March 2024 and have recently purchased a new phone. Tried to get open the app again and says wrong password or email. Tried resetting my password but it says email not found.

Good, not great.

So far I’m enjoying the app, but I can’t for the life of me understand why I need to pay for this after the huge premium I’ve already paid for a XP Deus 2 metal detector. Sure, it’s only $5 a year, but it’s a slap in the face for people who paid over a thousand dollars for your detector. Please reevaluate the need to charge for this, or at least change it so syncing your coil allows you to use it for free, as you’ve already received my money. I would love the ability to see a target ID on my Apple Watch, which would be a huge selling point for having the WS6 Master setup, instead of going with just audio, you could send the ID to the watch. Right now every target shows up as “unknown”. Fix those 2 things and this is a huge benefit of having an XP Detector and easily gives the app 5 stars.

App hacked

Both my sons and myself downloaded this app and used for a week. Then all of a sudden our sign ins don’t work anymore and have to re-do the account. Can’t get on and now get fraud and fishing emails everyday in French. Needs fixed.

Useless App

Rick Bertino on

United States

This App is totally useless as it does not work on iPhone and does not comply with Apple security standards. Can’t get it to work. All after waiting for four years for XP to even get it in line. Too bad. But was going to buy an Deus 2 but now I’m not. I was supposed to get this app for free when I bought my ORX four years ago. Now it comes out and I cannot even use it. Junk. Their website will not accept complicated passwords as suggested by my password app. So their app is useless because it does not adhere to Apple Security and privacy security standards. As you can see the developer of that app has many great ideas built in the app but it is too little too late. Besides. Who wants to tell the world where they found everything. Anyway. Would have been great but oh well.

Push mode syncing

Davevideo 1 on

It would be nice if the app would sync with the coils while in push mode. It would save time on set up not having to go into menu and change back to auto

Wish it would work

Would like to try this app, great idea, but never could get it to work.

What?

We waited for this for years, myself I went through the Deus, the Orx and now the Deus 2 and then we find its pay to play app? No thanks. I love your machines but to pay so much for a metal detector, actually three, this kind of feels like a slap in the face.

Decent apps. Annoying bugs. Fix the login issue

Pahusker on

United States

I love the idea of this app. I absolutely hate having to log in every time I close the app. Why not add Face ID or something so I can open it with out having to enter email and password. It is also annoying if I track my finds that is it almost impossible to see the route I walked using the map or satellite image. It would be nice to have a toggle to remove the finds I tagged so I can see the route I walked.
