For goodness sake, please read the reviews. I don’t know why I ignored them… I rented a truck for an exorbitant price and was moved around three times before picking it up. Then when I got there, the truck was unavailable and they wanted me to drive 1.5 hours to pick it up despite deadlines for my moving day. They wouldn’t reimburse me fully for the inconvenience and were absolutely shocking with customer service. DON’T USE THEM!! (I went with Orana - perfect experience and half the price) -- speeding_donkey, 2024-11-15 ### ***** "Not sure why everyone’s crying" Literally did everything well, rented it out on time, got it back on time, charged $15 of fuel after my usage, got my bond back and I paid $500 for mine since I’m a P Plater and couldn’t go through Sixt. Had to take photos and everything. First time using a moving truck and had a great time. Paid, as you do when you book. 1 hour before I was meant to collect the vehicle, a very nasty employee called me. Berated me that I couldn’t book with an interstate license, lectured me about the legality of it all. I simply asked for an immediate refund and she had a melt down. Yelling, swearing and all kinds of filth. They eventually refunded my money, 2 weeks later. NEVER BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. Upon booking they charged me immediately $150 + $200 security deposit - but they never comtacted me for a week to confirm the booking. When I finally emailed them, they called me and pretended they tried calling me for a week when there was no call history. They then decided to change my booking to another location over 30 mins away - without warning, email or any comms. This pathetic customer service person “Sue” then proceeded to argue with me saying I was wrong with an arrogant attitude and that is the best she can do and I have to accept it. She then said I will get charged if I cancel, almost threatening me to not cancel or face losing that charge. Absolute audacity of this woman. I decided to cancel anyway since they don’t deserve my business. It then took another week for the funds to actually clear, again without any comms of what’s happening. Also when I got to it, the car wouldn’t unlock or lock with the app so I had to call the company multiple times to get it sorted. The design of the app and emails are also clunky. A receipt alone is not enough if they determine the vehicle was not full. Based on what criteria? Remote pictures. So if your vehicles needle doesn’t hit the absolute max height, you must take a video of yourself refuelling and with audio to hear the click. You have been warned. NO STARS" The van we got was damaged, water leaked inside, boxes and a bookshelf got damaged, we destroyed blankets and sheets trying to mop up the water, the front cabin was not kept smoke free and had gotten into the air conditioning, there was duct tape on side of van, additional tape on front of van, back locks broken - its obvious minimal or no maintenance is performed on these vehicles and they run them into the ground. The inner damage had to patch it up with sealant as it was raining really heavy. Later when we complained about this we we're told it was impossible to have leakage even though we provided photos. Kimberley - National Operations Supervisor has made it clear that the experience of water leaking and our repair didn't happen and doesn't exist. These guys charged me $150 from my deposit(bond money) for fuel, when i picked up the vehicle it had half a tank, then when i dropped it off it has three quarter which is more than before, they charged me and the $50 saying they had to wash it when i only used it for about 2 hours Second time i booked and paid $400 for 5 days plus $200 for bond but then I took it back after 8 hours due to car shaking and choking, they sent the mechanic and said there’s nothing wrong with the car, and they wanted me to pay $150. They refused to give my money back when i returned their car because of this. App worked fine for picking up and dropping off my vehicle. I was a bit worried about locating the van using the gps as it was apparently located in a ‘super centre’ which is spread across multiple car parks and two different buildings, and there is no indication what level it might have been on. But I guessed it might have been on rooftop parking and I was right, although some kind of written note about what level it’s parked on rather than just a symbol showing the location would have been more helpful. Drop off went smoothly. However would have been good if I could take additional photos rather than just the default front, back and sides showing more of the condition of the car like at the start of the hire, just to protect myself and the company.
