## GoCarma Description
GoCarma rewards drivers for positive driving habits – saving money, reducing traffic, and making your commute more affordable. 

For example, in Dallas-Fort Worth, tens of thousands of people use GoCarma each weekday morning and evening to qualify for a 50% high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) toll discount. More than 3 million HOV discounts have been applied to date, appearing directly on drivers’ toll statements.

Wherever you drive, GoCarma works automatically in the background to make your trip easier and more rewarding.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Add your vehicle – register any car you travel in.
2. Allow permissions – enable location and Bluetooth so the app can detect trips.
3. Just drive – GoCarma runs automatically in the background. No tapping or remembering needed.
4. Check your trips – view tolls and discounts in the home screen (in some places, transactions may take a few hours to appear).

ABOUT LOCATION SERVICES

GoCarma asks for “Always Allow” access to Location Services so it can work quietly in the background without driver distraction. The app only activates on certain qualifying roads and does not track your trips everywhere. This is to protect your privacy and to avoid potential battery drain. If you choose not to allow this permission, you’ll need to manually open and keep the app running during each trip – which can be inconvenient. For peace of mind, you can visit the Privacy Center in the app anytime to see exactly where GoCarma has saved your location data. All data automatically expires after 60 days.

Cool idea, but I’m not receiving the HOV discounts nor are the Transactions showing up. I've drove with my best friend to work within the past 4wks and I’ve been charged full price this entire time. I just had to pay $400.00 yesterday. Like IN THIS ECONOMY!!!!! This app is not working for us. I’ve BEEN chatting with whatever AI Bot that you have and it’s getting me no where. Your app literally have ALL of our locations stored in your app but I’m STILL being charged full amounts. Can’t EVER get a human neither.

Back in January I stopped receiving my discounts. After months of trying to figure out the issue and not getting any help from NTTA until William reached out to them directly did this issue finally get resolved. Over 30 emails back and forth with William. If you aren’t getting my your discounts make sure NTTA and your go carma account match. Toll tag and license plate. Additionally if you get a new toll tag you have to update GoCarma. NTTA issued me a new toll tag and never told me to update GoCarma. William always responded to my emails in a timely manner.

You should not have to ALWAYS share your location and force guests in your car to do the same to get an HOV discount when AI can review the tooo camera footage. Total invasion of privacy to have to enable location sharing Bluetooth to get a discount on a $24 toll. There has to be a better way.
