Godox Light

Weirdly difficult to navigate and made the simplest task of changing the light settings difficult…

I want to give Godox credit that this app works without any kind of mandatory sign-up for some online account. The setup process is quick and easy, and thereafter, the app, generally, just works. That shouldn’t be rare, but it’s becoming distressingly so. It’s simple. It doesn’t try to be something else. It doesn’t get in my way. It doesn’t, if I recall correctly, pester me to review it. More apps should work this way. Yes, it’ll disconnect if I turn away from it for a while, forcing me to leave the mode and re-enter it. It’s an inconvenience, but for my needs at least, a minor one.

You have to reset Bluetooth all the time. If you’re looking for a light you can control remotely, don’t buy a Godox. This app is the worst!

It worked once a while ago but no longer. No matter what I do it won’t find my TL60.

Very difficult to use apps

Just purchased the Godoy ML60Bi Led Lights, extremely disappointed at the operation of the app!

I don’t like this requirement so unfortunately I’ll pass.

I have a SL150III and the app and light paired just fine. Once I did the update the app no longer finds my light. The remote works fine. The app is unusable.

Got 3 ML60bi lights.. awesome lights… But app and remote functionality is awful. Bluetooth doesn’t connect back up, app only works when you first connect them.. if you walk around then come back and try to control the lights, Bluetooth won’t connect and you have to pair again.. not very convenient for events.. Bought the remote too, and not very intuitive or easy to manage the lights. App has options to turn on/off all lights at same time (whenever you can connect), but you can’t set power output/temperature of all the lights at the same time..

Everything wad working great and now I can’t control the light through the app. That’s mainly the reason I purchased this light.
