Going: Find Flight Deals

I have really enjoyed the deals I’ve seen so far, so I decided to try the app. Unfortunately, it is not screen reader-friendly and does not work with VoiceOver, so I will be deleting it for now. However, I hope they make improvements to the app that will allow me to use it again in the future.

I just downloaded this app from an email prompt and this app is horrible!! Not user friendly and glitchy.

If you have no set plans and literally nothing to do and can look on this app all the time and find deals on flights then it’s perfect but if you have any sort of dates in mind or like have to be somewhere to be or an event at a certain time this app is pretty useless. For instance, I have a wedding with specific dates in Athens — I search with no deals obviously so I don’t really know what the point of this is unless again like I said you have no plans and your dates are wide open and you’re just planning for the sake of planning.

App is clean and professional, but would be 5 stars IF: 1) better filtering/exclusive search for premium economy business and first. Right now it’s clunky to find those deals and 2) the navigation between pages is clunky — there should be a reset button so you don’t have to click back a million times to get back to a regular search

Scam want you to pay not free and not easy to use

I was a long time subscriber to Scott’s Cheap Flights, although admittedly I haven’t had a paid subscription in the last year or so. I recently decided to give it another go after completing some recent travel that I booked on my own. Downloaded the app today after being prompted to do so through email and can already see this is not the service for me anymore. I prefer email to the app. I don’t need yet another app on my phone. And in particular I don’t need one that doesn’t work. Filters in the same category (for at least some) are treated as “and” rather than “or” leading to no return results. In addition, the app has constantly been crashing and I’ve only had it for a few hours. I will definitely be canceling this subscription prior to the end of the trial period.

I really wanted to like this app but there are a lot of things that are not working. I wanted to participate in the giveaway but all buttons link to a website that then tell me I have to use the app. Account management also doesn’t seem to work on the app. I rather use the website tbh.

Maybe I’m just new at the Going game, but I’ve wasted a ton of time chasing “too good to be true” deals that pop up on my phone, only to learn my dates won’t work- even though the app said they would/should. I’m getting pretty frustrated that the Going app is like going to a casino. Yes, occasionally somebody will get lucky and strike a deal, but by and large the majority of people don’t- and the house always wins. Not sure that the $200 annual “elite” membership is worth the frustration, to be honest. If I get lucky, I’ll rescind my review!

This’ll maybe be a funny review, but what got me to five stars was that I tried the app for a year, it renewed on me, and I contacted them to get a refund because I just haven’t been traveling and so am not making use of it. They issued the refund with no hassle. So, hey, for what it does— show you deals on relatively impromptu travel— it seems to work pretty well. It’s worth a try if that’s your style.

I downloaded your app. Now it won’t open. It shuts down before it even opens.
