Really like the app but..

I don’t like how the web version is different than the app. I’d like to have the feature where I can filter out scholarships by topic. Also to have the option where I can put 500 dollars as the lowest award to the filter

Using it for the first time and I love the interface and it seems like it a smooth process

No Success

This is my second year using Going Merry, and I have not won anything. Going Merry is a great way to see scholarships you *may* be eligible for, but their search bar is virtually useless, and it is almost impossible to find a scholarship specific to your course of study. I am frequently “matched” with inapplicable scholarships. As an elementary education major, all of the STEM scholarships are non-applicable and a waste of time. Even local scholarships are difficult to find, since I cannot search my state or county. Additionally, I’ve applied to quite a few. My situation is very bad, and my writing abilities rather good, so why is it so hard, after 70+ applications, to get any aid? If you have time to waste, by all means, use Going Merry and try for scholarships. I’ve found more success elsewhere. I suggest calling around and contacting your schools. Going Merry could be much more useful for people if the search refinement features was better, or if the search bar even worked.
