GolfRef is the essential reference app for American golfers — whether you're a weekend warrior, a new player trying to learn the game, or a seasoned player who just blanked on the drop procedure. [RULES] 10 of the most common on-course situations explained in plain English — not the stuffy R&A rulebook language. OB, lost balls, penalty areas, bunkers, embedded balls, flagstick rules, and more. Every rule includes a Pro Tip so you actually remember it next time. [SLANG DICTIONARY] 28 golf terms from Ace to Yips. Know what a Snowman is. Understand why nobody says "shank" out loud. Learn the difference between a draw and a hook, a chunk and a skull. Each term comes with a real-world example so it sticks. [PENALTY CALCULATOR] The fastest way to know your ruling. Pick your situation — OB, lost ball, water hazard, unplayable lie, wrong ball, bunker violation, flagstick — answer one question, and get a clear verdict: how many strokes, what to do next, and whether there's actually no penalty at all (it happens more than you think). [WHY GOLFERS LOVE IT] - Clean dark interface — easy to read in bright sunlight - Works 100% offline — no signal needed on the course - Covers the 2019 rules updates (flagstick, bunker loose impediments) - Fast enough to use between shots without slowing down your group Stop guessing. Stop arguing. Just open GolfRef. ## Golfbook Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/01/57/43/015743a4-7274-a862-07fe-78353362c845/iphone-1.jpg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/33/81/5d/33815d80-f84d-47c6-9f98-3c7887714289/iphone-2.jpg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/1c/bb/36/1cbb3612-d0ef-8126-ca01-5d932bac9410/iphone-3.jpg/1284x2778.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource221/v4/cd/f7/c6/cdf7c612-8cf5-92d1-68b9-3c515c801155/iphone-4.jpg/1284x2778.png) ## Apps Similar to Golfbook - [V1 Pro: Coaching Platform](https://apptail.io/app/v1-pro-coaching-platform-aec/south-africa) - [SportLoMo Game Management](https://apptail.io/app/sportlomo-game-management-CbU/south-africa) - [ScoreCapture](https://apptail.io/app/scorecapture-Qjpb/south-africa) - [Paddy the Caddie Golf Yardages](https://apptail.io/app/paddy-the-caddie-golf-yardages-byBb/south-africa) - [BPGC Golf App](https://apptail.io/app/bpgc-golf-app-PNxk/south-africa) - [Everest Golf](https://apptail.io/app/everest-golf-QQVm/south-africa) - [Fun Golf Scorecard](https://apptail.io/app/fun-golf-scorecard-sykp/south-africa) - [Golf PDI](https://apptail.io/app/golf-pdi-aQEu/south-africa) - [Golf Shot Tracer: Ball Flight](https://apptail.io/app/golf-shot-tracer-ball-flight-QnwA/south-africa) ## Golfbook Available In - [Armenia](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/armenia) - [Angola](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/angola) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/bulgaria) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/algeria) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/iceland) - [Kenya](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/kenya) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/luxembourg) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/slovakia) - [Tunisia](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/tunisia) - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/united-states) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/golfbook-golf-rules-qDAA/south-africa) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
