Available as AUv3 and Standalone. In 1932, Maurice Martenot was looking for a way to make his groundbreaking proto-synthesizer “Ondes” audible beyond what could be archived with the horns and loudspeakers of the time. He developed a set of “diffuseurs”, of which the “Métallique” was one. Instead of a paper cone or horn, Martenot put a gong behind the amplifier circuitry. This seemingly simple idea resulted in resonances and brilliant overtones that excite audiences to this day. Using a complex mixture of convolution processing, physical modeling, and feedback systems, we created an instrument that is true to the responsiveness of the original and even transcends it in terms of sound design possibilities. ## Gong Amp Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/41/82/3a/41823afe-1ab7-8605-95fd-f7f90896f5d6/27e81810-b6d1-492c-8aa3-b503c9a8d328_iPhone_5.5_U0022_Display.png/2208x1242.png) ## Gong Amp Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 13 (100%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 0 (0%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 0 (0%) ## Gong Amp Reviews in United States ### ***** "Fantastic!" The more I use the better it gets. Can add nice metallic tones- short, long, bright dark and more. A really nice unique effect. Using it often on percussion. Thanks! -- Oatsnmaple, 2025-05-07 ### ***** "I already own this on desktop, however.." I couldn't tell if the "Howl" setting was actually doing anything or producing a change in the sound. Am I doing it wrong or is that a bug? -- mikenoface, 2023-08-09 [View all Gong Amp reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Gong Amp - [Bass Mint](https://apptail.io/app/bass-mint-pJmb/united-states) - [lo-fi-af](https://apptail.io/app/lo-fi-af-uJmb/united-states) - [SoundSaw](https://apptail.io/app/soundsaw-lmnb/united-states) - [VintageRack](https://apptail.io/app/vintagerack-mZqb/united-states) - [Magma : sound as matter](https://apptail.io/app/magma-sound-as-matter-rbXi/united-states) - [GS-201](https://apptail.io/app/gs-201-Afdl/united-states) - [NoInputMixer](https://apptail.io/app/noinputmixer-RWJn/united-states) - [BounceBud Physics Based MIDI](https://apptail.io/app/bouncebud-physics-based-midi-vKNn/united-states) - [Transit - Baby Audio](https://apptail.io/app/transit-baby-audio-xFmo/united-states) - [Weeping Wall](https://apptail.io/app/weeping-wall-oVwp/united-states) ## Gong Amp Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/united-states) - [Japan](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/japan) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/canada) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/austria) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/italy) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/germany) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/france) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/colombia) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/czechia) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/denmark) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/dominican-republic) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/algeria) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/egypt) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/spain) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/finland) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/united-kingdom) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/greece) - [Hong Kong SAR China](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/hong-kong) - [Hungary](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/hungary) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/israel) - [India](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/india) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/kuwait) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/kazakhstan) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/lebanon) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/malaysia) - [Netherlands](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/netherlands) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/new-zealand) - [Peru](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/peru) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/philippines) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/pakistan) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/portugal) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/romania) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/russia) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/saudi-arabia) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/sweden) - [Slovakia](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/slovakia) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/thailand) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/turkey) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/ukraine) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/vietnam) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/argentina) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/south-africa) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/australia) - [Belgium](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/belgium) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/brazil) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/belarus) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/switzerland) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/gong-amp-uHjn/chile) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
