Poor app

Mmmmmmmfdfhhj on

Used to get online version from Amazon until they stopped, this version is poor second , slow to load pages and scroll down format is less user friendly

Such a terrible app

Tyihanjonkl on

God you need to do something about this. The app is so laggy and slow and I appear to not be able to scroll through a recipe until the app has been open for at least 5minutes. If you expect people to pay for these things they should at least bloody work.

Good recipes, pity about the performance

WorldCupGilly on

The recipes in Good Food are inspiring and reliable, BUT the performance of the app is woeful. Pages take seconds to load, the app doesn’t remember where you were so you have to reopen the page every time. It all makes it really painful to browse through when planning meals and frustrating when you just want to check the ingredients before shopping or getting something out of the freezer. Bought a new iPad this year as performance on my old one was so unbearably bad, but even so it’s abominably slow.

Really slow!!

elong26 on

I’ve had this for years. I’ve re booted it and honestly it is driving me mad! It takes for ever to load, it then sticks so you can’t view the articule or recipe and impossible to find anything

Very poor replacement for physical magazine

Kims9 on

I have been a subscriber to the physical magazine for many years and decided to switch to the digital version this year to be more environmentally friendly. However I have found it very frustrating and have cancelled my subscription. It is extremely difficult to navigate. You cannot see a whole page at once and need to scroll up and down, which often does not work, with constant sticking. You must then go back to the top to get to the next page, and then scroll again to see the rest of the page. It is also not possible to print a page or download it, which I expected to be one of the chief benefits of a digital version, and this makes it very difficult to use recipes effectively. Very disappointed with this app in place of the physical version.

Not very user friendly

beccachicka on

I’m a very tech savvy person but found this app incredibly frustrating to use. It’s not personable at all and leaves you feeling confused as to whether you’re using it right.

Keeps losing my subscription books

Daisy 479 on

Just keeps losing books I’ve paid for

Terrible App

Ppparkerface on

I cancelled my subscription at the end of 2022 because I got fed up of how buggy and slow the app is. Someone bought me a subscription for Christmas though so I’m back again it’s just as bad if not worse. I’d recommend looking at the other food mag apps before spending your money on the good food subscription.

Robbing gits with no help to unsubscribe.

Got robbed by goodfood app on

Just the worst customer service. If you’ve put purchased through apple then you won’t have any help to unsubscribe. Apart from the app being unusable I also have to continue paying £40 a year for the privilege. Customer service initially tried to assist then what they thought was their final attempt of help closed my complaint off and now I have to start the process again. I’m computer savvy and yet it’s impossible to cancel, even they can’t do it! Stay well clear!

App is not intuitive

Lalondee1 on

No logic to how the app is organised
