Great App
My Wife and I have been using Good Budget for almost 4 years. Love it. Used it for 2 years before retiring to track our spending and ensure we would have enough to live off. Continue to use it. Does take a little bit of time to set up and get used to but absolutely worth the effort. Gives us confidence in our retirement. Highly recommend.
Generally good, but hard to make modifications
I find good budget to be an excellent way of tracking expenses, but oh boy, if you need to make changes to your budget it is very difficult to use. I have had to delete everything and start from scratch as I could not work out how to make and save changes. It is not intuitive.
Have to pay
I couldn’t open an account without paying. I thought looking for a budget planner meant I don’t have money. How dare you
Great app please fix this bug
Great app would recommend. Please fix auto-scroll to top of page for iPhone app.
Might as well use Excel
What does your app offer that excel doesn’t? The only reason to use an app over an excel template is automatically syncing bank transactions. But this is not present.. so what are you charging for? What’s the point of the app.
This saved our finances!
We needed help and it came in the form of GoodBudget. Easy to set up, easy to use and the fact that it syncs between our phones means that we can both see - at a glance - how things are progressing in each Category. This has had a profound impact on our conscious spending. It’s honestly awesome. Can’t recommend it highly enough, we are now entirely debt free!
Not intuitive at all
In this day and age you should be able to work out the app intuitively . This is not it. Gave up after a few minutes as most people would.

If you have red/green colourblindness this app is largely unusable.
