Great minus not getting notifications
Have tried several ways to turn on notifications but hasn’t worked. As a result I miss out on bags in my area because they get scooped up fast.

I love goodie bag and have been using since I discovered them in Boulder. I’m very passionate about food waste and don’t always love paying high prices for takeout and this is truly the perfect in between! I see that they’ve been expanding to new cities and I hope this gets implemented all across the us
I still get notifications that there’s food that I would like to purchase but every time I click on the app I just get an error message
I LOVE the concept of this app… reducing food waste is something I’ve always felt strongly about, and I love a deal! However, I am deathly allergic to tree nuts and have been afraid to purchase any goodie bags at all thus far because I’m afraid I’ll accidentally eat something that has nuts in it without knowing any better. I wish there was a way to specify food allergies so the store knows to leave certain foods out of your goodie bag.
Most of the restaurants in here are almost an hour outside of my city. And this app crashes or doesn’t load. I had to request a refund once and after asking four times I finally got my refund and a passive aggressive message from their support team.
All it says is "coming soon." Not a SINGLE result! Uninstalling now.
Not only was the food I picked up EXCELLENT, but the concept of limiting food waste is even better. Give this a try and support your local businesses at the same time!
If you are okay with constant notifications, with a small opportunity to actually purchase any leftover food before it’s gone, then go ahead and get the app! This system, where I’m bombarded with notifications but never can get any food, because there are likely so many other people vying for it, is not for me. I also wonder whether some of these glowing 5 star reviews are written by friends of the owners, because it’s just not reality in my opinion that one person is fast enough to get the deals all the time. But I guess it’s possible. Hopefully the company will grow, and be able to lower the prices ( they are not the awesome deals one would expect for food that is going to be given away or thrown away, but clearly people are still paying!). I am in Charleston. I will return for a look-see in a few months.
Secured so many dank goodie bags from dope local restaurants and bakeries. This startup is going to change the world
I rarely leave a bad review but in this case I felt it was well deserved. I updated my app this morning and was delighted to see one of my favorites had bags available. I went on to select my bag but it wouldn’t let me pay. I decided to go down there in person since there were 5+ bags left. Complete waste of time and gas. You can’t pay in the store and couldn’t pay on the app. I’m deleting this app immediately and telling everyone I referred to it. Ok, had to leave one star because the App Store won’t let you leave no stars.
