Hi there
This is the app I’ve been searching for. After trying almost every other app available, I decided to give this one a try. The main reason I chose this app over others is its simplicity. Most of the other apps I tried were subscription-based and quite expensive, which I’m not a fan of. Apart from the price, the app is top-notch and offers a range of great features that perfectly cater to my needs. Here are some of the features I like about the app: - Nested tags: These are fantastic for keeping my content organized. - Highlights and exporting to my notes app: These are incredibly useful features. - Widgets: These are excellent for keeping my screen clutter-free. - Minimalist UI and fast response: The app has a clean and user-friendly interface, and it responds quickly to my actions. Overall, I’m very impressed with the app and would highly recommend it. It’s a great value for the price, and it offers a ton of features.
This is one of those old fashioned app that don’t costs a ton and yet provides unprecedented quality of what’s doing. I’ve tried almost all of this kind of apps in AppStore, many of them made well in terms of sorting and storing the saved data, a lot of them has an option to download whole article to you device. Almost none of them doing that reliably enough, this one does. This was the main reason to stick with this one long ago, but then this thing got evolved to a literally absolutely perfect read later app beating all of its competitors effortlessly. I mean the nested tags, the notes, dozen options to export all of it. It’s a bless.
I’ve been looking for a bookmarking/reading app for awhile, and I haven’t been able to find one I really enjoy. Not to mention they are usually expensive subscriptions. GoodLinks is everything I want an app to be - private and secure, slick native experience on multiple platforms (iOS, iPad and Mac), very stable and reliable. This pricing structure is what every app should have. No subscription, but a fair model with a one-time cost and optional paid upgrades.
This is easily one of my favorite and most used apps. I personally love GoodLinks for the ability to save and organize articles offline in order to read later or use as references. I also like that it is basically a pay once, use forever type deal rather than a subscription model. I would rate the app a 10/10 and would not hesitate to recommend it. However, I do hope features like the ability to search for keywords within a saved article, to edit the thumbnail of articles, to edit the text of saved articles, and to underline text instead of highlighting it are added someday. The lack of these features is not really a big deal, but it would be a good improvement if they were added eventually. Also please give us the ability to capitalize letters used in hashtags.
Cons: Goodlinks cannot parse images in image view like Omnivore for Semantic HTML in web.dev. No left to right navigation option. No article view options like Article+. No folders like Twilar.
I’ve used a lot of apps that capture web data and GoodLinks is the one I prefer over all the rest. First, no subscription, I got a lifetime version and I couldn’t be happier. It’s so easy to use and easy to manage links. Very good job Team.
Love this app. So clean and fast.
This type of app has been around for years and virtually every example is either low quality or has an expensive subscription. That’s why I’m so surprised to find GoodLinks in 2024 and conclude it’s the best app of its type, maybe on any platform. This app has an excellent design, integrates with your browser, and just works. I’d love to be able to ingest PDFs and other documents, but that’s a nice-to-have. The pricing model is fair too. I hope this app stays around for years. When people talk about wanting to use iOS for ecosystem, apps like this are what they mean.
GoodLinks is my go to app to store articles for later reading. It is outstanding and very useful to me.
