I love the app! I find now that I’m sticking to the reading goal, that I update it everyday. It’s nice to look back on how I experienced the reading process per book. I do wish it was slightly more interactive with friends, like being able to reply to comments easily and chat. It also would be even better if you can add half stars when a full star doesn’t express the true sentiment.

I just love the app and the purpose of the app. I love how you can follow friends and find new books easy. 
What I hate is that you can not give 0.5 starts, sometimes a book is just a 3.5 and not a 3 or a 4. It would also be nice if you could chat easier with friends

All perfect how I imagined this app should look like. 1 point of improvement: when writing a review, accidentally swiping out of the review screen immediately deletes your entire text. A confirmation message and/or concept review function would be lovely for us clumsy people out there.

The app for Goodreads is even more outdated than their website. It is the only reading platform with such content and social element so it is sad that despite a million users the developers could not care less. In this update, even the account page is incredibly glitchy. Thank heavens the feed is usable, but it keeps adding unwanted irrelevant recommendations in the middle of the updates. The recommendation algorithm is in general really stupid, it really needs more sophisticated methods to advice well, like at least account for the authors writing style and book themes, not just random tags. And it is high time someone added the elementary options to sort reviews by date and filter by language like you already have for Amazon! And omg, still no notifications about comment replies!
