Nicht nur das GA4 der letzte Müll ist, auch die App funktioniert nicht richtig und hat X Fehler. Wir werden nun auf PiwikPro wechseln und auch unsere Kunden dazu empfehlen. Google scheint sich aktuell in jeder Hinsicht zu verschlechtern.

Ich weiß nicht wie ein Weltunternehmen wie Google sich mit so einer App blamieren kann ? 
Aber nicht nur die App alleine ist das Problem. 
Wenn über Google Ads geschaltete werbe Ergebnisse ( Klicks & Seitenbesuche ) nicht registriert bzw. angezeigt werden dann ist das schon ein Armutszeugnis. 
Das es mit wenigen Klicks machbar ist und auf Anhieb funktioniert , hat mir Piwik Pro gezeigt. 
Da kann sich Google eine Scheibe davon Abschneiden.

Ich nutze schon seit längerem verschiedene Google Produkte, aber ich war auch nach Jahren nochmal begeistert: ich habe die App heruntergeladen und nach a. 20 Sekunden Installation geöffnet. Dann war ich sofort im Dashboard eingeloggt per SSO, da ich bereits mit meinem Account auf meinem iPhone registriert bin. Das ist unglaublich, dass die Entwickler hier den extra Meter gegangen sind, um mir nochmal 3 Klicks zu ersparen, mich zu authentifizieren! Es ist einfach brilliant und zeigt wie gut die Apps von Google miteinander verzahnt sind.

Die neue Version August 2020 löscht alle Dashboards, die man sich mühevoll eingerichtet hat. Es können auch keine Dashboards mehr eingerichtet werden, die nach Segmenten gefiltert sind. Das war der Sinn und Zweck der App für mich: Auf einen Blick einen Überblick über alle relevanten Metriken zu bekommen. Ich will ja nicht täglich die Filter neu einstellen. Bitte undbedingt dieses Manko korrigieren, sonst ist die App nutzlos!

Nicht nur das alle Dasboards verschwunden sind, gewisse Infos lassen sich einfach nicht mehr anzeigen. Mir war zum Beispiel wichtig, wieviel Nutzer mehr oder weniger im Vergleich zur vorherigen Woche waren. Jetzt sehe ich da nur Prozente und muss es mir selbst ausrechnen. Auch das switchen zwischen den einzelnen Properties ist jetzt umständlich und benötigt unzählige Klicks mehr.  Wieder hat Google bewiesen, dass der Nutzer egal ist.
