Difficult to set up due to time outs

All codes just disappeared

I had a number of different accounts associated with my email address which is gmail. They’ve all just disappeared from the app. You’re left going round in circles online to try fix it but the only option I found was to contact individual companies and reset the 2FA. Then re add it. All the bs from Google sources about having alternatives doesn’t really help when you didn’t know about them when setting up in the first place. Or adding to a new device and your accounts will synch, this just didn’t happen.

Works fine and it’s easy to transfer codes from one account to another.

Disaster

After reading reviews it bewilders me that this app has not sorted out issues from 10 years ago that still seem to happen a lot. My account got wiped. Out of the blue. No codes nothing. No way to return them either. There doesn’t even seem to have been an update. I haven’t changed or done anything to my phone and here we are- I have to authorise every other account I had the Authenticator linked with, prove my identity with them and wait for them to approve. A nightmare!
