Google Calendar

I have set multiple tasks to reoccur every week with no end date and tasks to reoccur every 2 weeks with a set end date and they won’t show the tasks 2 months in advanced and I have to set them again after that time. Other tasks I have set to reoccur every month with no end date show up for only a year. If I set no end date I should be able to see it in my calendar forever should I not? It is annoying and frustrating to know I have to constantly check my calendar to make sure all my tasks are actually there and have set them again. Need to fix this ASAP!!!

I want to give this app 5 stars.. However, my only concern is that even if I uncheck the birthday checklist, the birthdays still keep showing up on the calendar and sometimes it covers up other appointments during that day, please update it. Thanks

I love Google Calendar! BUT I reeeeally hate that the colors I set for my calendar on my computer don’t translate to the mobile app. Like I’ll set all my calendars to be pretty aesthetic colors, but then I go to the mobile app and they all default to lame gross colors. I wish that could be fixed!! I feel like that’s not a difficult thing to amend :)

All of a sudden the widget option just doesn’t exist anymore? My existing widget turned black and non functional. Deleted it, went to re-add it, and the option is no longer there?

For some reason almost every time I save an event on a day. It auto saves on the current day even after EXPLICITLY choosing a different day. Then I have to go edit the event and re-select the day I originally already selected. Can’t explain how annoying this is. On days I’m in a hurry I have gone back to check to see an event was not saved the day I selected. I thought it was my fault the first few times but with the repeated instances I see it’s an app error.

when entering items into the calendar, the headings are: Events, Tasks, Birthdays & Holidays; why is there no heading for Anniversaries?

I was really a big fan of google calender. But after a latest update, the calender widget doesn’t show current day “all day tasks” but it only shows tomorrow’s “all day tasks”. Only way to see current all day tasks is to open the app. Previously it was very convenient to scroll through my widgets and see all my tasks. Now for iphone I can’t scroll and finding it very inconvenient to open app each time and check my daily tasks. Wish you can bring it back. I want to switch to other calender apps for this reason. I have tried restarting the phone as recommended, but it doesn’t work.

1. I have the Gmail app installed in my phone and set as Default. Yet, when I click on the envelope icon in an event, it complains that I need to have the stock Mail app restored. 2. The calendar widget does not refresh (sometimes) even when background refresh is enabled for the Gmail app. I don’t think the first issue is a surprise. Please consider making this simple change to make the Google Calendar app even more productive. It’s a great product as-is.
