Why did you change hangouts
Firstly Why You changed it from hangouts to google chat I want it back to hangouts

I need show device option in chat again
awful app
firstly, why are the chat bubbles located on the left side of the screen? even hangouts was better than this, the sender’s chat bubble was at the right side and even had a different colour. secondly, why can’t you reply to a specific text, as you can do in almost any other messaging app? thirdly, why can’t you name the groups? the groups look so bland and clustered. there are so many more problems like you cannot select multiple images at a time etc. i uninstalled this app, please update it to a better version.
Too missing features
After using other chat services like WhatsApp and Telegram, Google chat seems like something from the 90s. We cannot attach a PDF on chat that is the most essential part of any business discussion. Interface is also not userfriendly unlike other google apps that are super friendly. Wouldn't recommend.

Why did u remove hangouts?
This app is so bad literally u can’t name group chats or leave them correctly and you also can’t call? The one thing I looked forward to for Google chat was deleting messages and u even don’t have that. I am terribly dissatisfied.

Some problems
Firstly, why cant you name a group chat. Why do you have to create a new group if you wish to add someone in it? Why cant you leave a group chat? Minor problems... other than that its ok-
Nav Drawer Bug
My name is overlapping some times with navigation drawer.Some times I’m unable to open side bar
