Google Chat

At the start of the year, I made the switch for my company to use Google Chat as the messaging platform since we are using Google Workspace already. Have been a great experience and also a great opportunity to separate work from life. I just hope that there is a tab in Direct Messages that show us all the photos and files respectively that is shared between myself and my individual colleagues (and arranged in chronological order. This function is available is available in Spaces, can’t see why it can be done in DMs. Would save lots of time if there is such a tab available. Appreciate that!!

While G.Chat app is a good alternative to other corporate messaging system, it is by far poorest compared to full fledge enterprise apps like Slack. My biggest qualms about the app, WHICH GOOGLE DEVELOPERS NEEDS TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT, is the ability for users to set different shades/colors to their backgrounds and speech bubbles for readability and legibility! The current blue shade of speech bubbles with black fonts is EXTREMELY HARD on the eyes and the quote @ of someone’s name in the speech bubble just disappears as the shade of blue is almost similar to the speech bubble blue background! It’s atrocious!!!

Don’t have voice note option please update

This app is useful to collaborate and share tasks. However it takes many steps to open apps, navigate to tasks menu and create tasks. Would like to have a shortcut or widget to view tasks and create task.

Unable to delete/remove chats on ios mobile app. Please make the function convenient to be able to delete a message/chat on mobile app besides on desktop. Thanks

The photos preview in the App Store shows that the chats/ messages came in speech bubbles as would most text messaging platform. But there was not such option to toggle it on on the Google Chat app on the phone. Google Chat is great but it’s not easy on the eyes trying to read messages. Hope the developers/ designers can implement a speech bubble interface for Google Chat.

The app keeps saying there is no connection when I have connection and I am getting annoyed by it and I am not able to text my teachers.

Got this “no connection.” Error message despite network is strong . Tried reinstall but still same error .

It’s super bad it keeps saying wifi problem when my wifi is on five bars
