I used to use the google home that we got as a gift but now the audio doesn’t work all I get are the text broadcasts on my phone I’m sure I’m not doing something right But am clueless

Pathetic piece o tech
If I have ask google any more times to turn of lights or TVs etc I will go crazy. I’ve reverted to remote controls because it is quicker. After asking 12 times tonight to turn off the AC (paired with Sendibo) I gave up and turned off with the remote control. Pathetic technology!!!!!
It’s the most buggy app ever
It’s not just not app to google standards. It’s just unusable I bought google nest. And it works 10% of the time. I reconnect, I restart, I hard reset. But always something is not working. Like now for example it tells me in German fir some reason that I should connect through google home app. But I did that 10 times already. I’m so dissatisfied with this google product

The company seems to have given up on support
Ask Google Home for an Apple & get an Orange - tuis us the level of misinterpretation by Google Home Devices. Sending feedback sees no improvement. Seems like the company has completely neglected to provide support or make improvements in their devices. Our Google Home devices are unplugged and kept aside till we make up our mind on whether to just use them like Display or to Discard them.
