I’ve escalated the matter for a year now internally within google and continually get fobbed off. Notifications do not work for google home since iOS’s last major update. 

Per googles usual product strategy no doubt they will look to eventually discontinue the cameras that the bought from nest. I’m the bigger idiot for buying a google product.

I am counting the days for the moment I will remove this app from my home and my life along with the google nest cameras (which are the most overpriced cameras in the world). I am trying to view the events that occured outside( or inside) and the video keeps crashing and stops the recording suddenly. Whenever someone is seen, it takes at least 2 minutes for the app to load the live feed. Google nest doesn’t understand me at all. I am asking it to turn on any light and just doesn’t do it. Do not buy. Do not invest.
