Is Google Home legit?
⚠️ The Google Home app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
Why Google? This app is soo hard to use… Some settings have disappeared and I can’t find a way to cancel said settings; like family bell is gone. I searched the net and they said to download the google assistant app, which I cannot find on the App Store. Come on google, simplify this app.
Nest cam 2
When setting up app keeps crashing even after restart
only use for cameras
The only reason i have this app is for the cameras around the outside my house. it works well enough but my biggest complaint, and probably my only complaint (but it drives me INSANE) is that i get double camera notifications every. single. time. there is movement captured in the cameras. i have exhaustively looked through the app settings with no success, as well as scoured the internet to see if i could correct this issue… but to no avail. i just want ONE push notification for each time someone walks in front of the camera. if i could accomplish this feat, it would be a 5 star review. can anyone please help me? thanks!
Terrible
Garbage connection. Keeps disconnecting
Finding and connecting? Still fighting with it!
So I this thing and 14 compatible light bulbs only to find out after many hours of doing everything I could possibly think of and talking to everyone I could think of from all companies involved and then there’s the $300.00 plus and eight work. Thanks
Great until you get a new modem
I had to get a new modem and now all of 9 Google devices don’t work/wont connect. Wired Google nest cams, battery cams, nest hub max, etc. None of them will re-connect in the home app because the WiFi credentials have changed and you can’t update any of them in the app. I’ve spent about 2 hours so far messsing with them and I’ve finally got the nest hub max to connect but I had to factory reset it. Factory resetting the cameras doesn’t work. They fail to connect every time. I’ve tried on the 2.4ghz WiFi band, and the 5ghz one. Nothing is working. Why in the world can I not access the WiFi settings for each device within the app and just update the connection?
No help
This app does nothing. It says everything is fine, but the WiFi won’t connect to some devices, or is EXTREMELY slow. There is zero troubleshooting for this common problem.
Cameras in google home
Please make it so downloading footages is better. I cannot download more than 5 minutes. Whereas on nest website it would let you do up to 3 hours of footage backup.
This feature is very crucial for me as we have existing cameras that I want to migrate but this main feature which cameras are used for is completely bad rn. I have more than 100 of cameras needing to be migrated.
Not five because i can’t view my cameras
I got this app because I wanted to link all my services (Wyze, Kasa, Tapo, Zosi, Shark, Govve, OKP Smart Life & Honeywell) I can do all of this but can’t view my cameras
Awful and Broken UI
Every update brings new bugs. Who is QA’ing these changes?
After the last patch close button don’t work, feedback buttons don’t work. Playback still consistently hangs.
Google, please allocate a new team or lead to support for this app. I am not sure how anyone shipping this product is keeping their job.
